Can’t fault the service, but food not up to scratch. Two of us had prawn cocktail after diving through the lettuce found two and a half prawns both of us. And two of us had crispy duck salad as mains it was just duck flakes we did complain waitress brought out a dish of duck and apologised. Will be a while till I go back there

Most of our food we ordered was served up lukewarm which was immediately sent back including the very tired looking cold vegetables. All food replacements eventually turned back up, but again were cold with no sign of the second attempt for the vegetables and sides. The vegetables finally turned up after having to chase their whereabouts and to our utter disbelief they were once again served cold 😡 They also looked like something that even my free range hens would have walked away from. The remaining sides never ever made their way to our table and combined with the rude waitress, I can honestly say that I will never ever be eating there again. Avoid this place like the plague ! A truly shocking dining experience had by all 😡

A lovely traditional English pub/restaurant where the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is very tasty, especially the triple cook chips and has a well varied menu. Losses one star as it's quite expensive.

Very poor service, forgot One Main meal, drinks really slow to arrive. Ask for Sweet Menu which we were given but nobody came back to see if we wanted anything. Manager did take the the forgotten meal off the bill. But I would not recommend this Pub to anyone. ps I don’t complain normally so this is how bad our service was tonight.

Recently been here to celebrate a Diamond Wedding Anniversary. It's a lovely pub in Horsham that's definitely worth a visit if you're in the local area. Food was delicious, the pub staff were very friendly, helpful and provided great customer service. 🙂

There was no gas in the restaurant at all, didn’t get told about it at all even after a week in advance. Not even told about it until I complained about it being cold. On top of this we weren’t told about food we couldn’t have due to the gas shortage until after we decided to eat. Service was also poor and staff were not well trained. Manager was nice to rectify it but still tried to blame gas people instead of their own mishandling of the situation and lack of communication amongst staff and customers. If the management improved would be a great establishment as drinks are good and food menu is diverse and looks good.

Great choices but large portions, not a bad thing. Loved how friendly the staff were and the option of sitting in or outside was nice. They allow you to order online through your phone and had good customer service. This place is dog-friendly which I really liked. The puddings were amazing and I loved them! The seating was great and I would come again for dinner.

Went with friends for a meal and a couple of drinks. Arranged for early evening we sat at an outside table as the weather was fine. Tables are a reasonable size for four and ours was covered by a large awning. Chairs were comfortable and staff came, gave us menus and took our drinks order. Must be said that the staff were young, pleasant and very attentive - a real credit to the pub.Two of us went for the Southern fried chicken burger. It's sauce was hot but not overly so. One went for fish and chips and I went for the steak and chips which was delicious. We all opted to pay the extra for the triple cooked chips and we're pleased we did - great chips !For desert we went for Apple pie with cream, chocolate brownies and ice cream, sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and apple with blueberry crumble and custard. All cooked to perfection. Can recommend.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious (there were also lots of options to choose from on the menu). Would definitely return here.
