Only wanted food, no alcohol, but were refused cos one of the 18 year olds with us didn't have any I.D. on her. Never experienced this before in a pub. Went to the next nearest pub and everything was fine...ordered burgers and cokes no problem!

Doesn't deserve even 1 star, just came back from a lovely iday n Littlehampton and found a nice looking pub, little did we know once inside we was greeted by Mrs Grinch, first thing that came out of her mouth was "We don't have chilli"Plus the menu had all of 5 items on, plus seconds after she growls , "Are they all over 18" ie. My 18 year old daughter , 18 year old nephew and his 19 year old girlfriend, then they were asked to show ID which only 2 had on , do yourself a favour and head to Boars Head just down the rd, and was greeted with a smile and was served food and we even got watered. Highly recommended Boars Head.

Won me over since my first review which was based on a single visit.Having been back several times more, I'm bumping the 4 star up to a 5.The atmosphere is always so warm and welcoming, the staff are relaxed and friendly. A great selection of local beers and ales and good quality food.Pop down for regular live music and fun quiz nights.Cheers guys

We have visited a couple of times when we have been to stay with our friends who are local. Lovely little pub. Nice atmosphere. Staff are nice. We came on New year's eve and had lovely food platters! See you soon

Absolutely lovely pub to visit. Staff are so friendly and our dogs first visit to a pub, she LOVED it!!! Will be a regular thing in future.

A really lovely little pub with good atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. Good drink selection and all affordable. Food was very wholesome and nice (especially the nachos), I just wish it was a little more vegan friendly

Sunday RoastYum! Just yum. We had the roast beef, with all the trimmings which was lovely and enough to bring home leftovers for the doggy. Freshly cooked, great staff and good value.Lovely craft ales too. It’s lovely to see our local pub getting back to its best-a big paws up from us

Couldn’t recommend this pub more highly: the new landlord and landlady (Jodie and Mike) could not be more friendly, efficient or accommodating - the fact that they’re amazing musicians too is just the icing on the cake! Two amazing four-legged friends too!
