Nice pub friendly staff and quality food

Went for a Sunday roast and decided to have starters and desserts too. Fixed pric for 2 or 3 course lunch. Excellent food Excellent service.

Worth a visit , good food, a choice of beers and if the weather is good sitting outside and watching the world go by is just brilliant

The food was great and the staff were really lovely. The pub itself is a characterful place in a rural setting with a good sized car park. Dogs are welcome on a lead

I messaged on Facebook to ask about a lunch booking and about bringing a dog, I had a very quick and friendly reply. We had a great long walk to the pub, got a warm welcome and a dog biscuit! We had lunch by the fire and it was just lovely. Thoroughly recommend. I’ll definitely be back.

I have had some excellent meals at the lamb in, the last visit was a disappointment. No local beers, food a bit fancier and pricier than before. Generally OK but spoilt for choice locally so a repeat booking is a long way off.

Lovely country pub with a great menu. Sunday roast is highly recommended and you can even get a roast for your dog too served for them in a bowl. The service was excellent and you do not feel rushed to vacate your table as in some establishments. A lovely afternoon. I will visit again and tell friends about too. Thank you.

Lovely pub, great food. Couldn't have done more to accommodate us. This was my autistic son's first pub lunch and a total success thanks to all the staff and their friendliness and kindness towards him.

An absolutely stunning roast dinner! And bonus points for including our four legged friends with a doggie dinner. The starters were beautiful too! The puddings sounded lovely but (sorry, not sorry) we were absolutely stuffed after the first two courses. Very attentive waiting staff too and a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Also great that you can buy a small roast for those with smaller appetites. Will come again soon!
