Good local pub. Perfect for those of us who hate the big chain pubs.

Open fire, traditional ales, quick pizza.It's a normal pub; This is how pubs should be. No chain restaurant takeover, no fake plastic interior, no fosters!Staff are class too. Regular human beings that are genuine instead of parroting corporate jargon.Can't think of a single complaint/negative.

Excellent, far nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside. Saw a brilliant band there recently, which is why we attended.

Really nice and cozy pub with different variety of beers . If you love ale you should go there!!!

Very nice pub. The people that run it are very friendly and dogs are welcome. We had a family gathering there and had a great time and lovely food.

Lovely pub. Super friendly staff. Lovely beer. Took our dog for his first visit inside a pub today. Major said hello to Sam and the barmaid. ( sorry didn't get your name ). Will be back soon.

Nice pub with a great range of beers and really great pizza. And the words 'really great' and 'pizza' don't often coexist in the UK.The beer I drank was Shere Drop, I think.The pizza had a thicker base than I would normally make but had great texture, not too doughy. They were sparing with the tomato based sauce so it didn't overpower the porky and mushroom goodness.If this were my local, I'd be a happy man.
