The Moon Pub in Horsham

Called a take away order in but was told to order through website. I guess writing down an order is too difficult. Tried several times to place my order through the website this but it didn’t work. Made a second attempt to call and place order but no answer. Just gave up. Never got to try the food. Ordering a takeaway shouldn’t be this difficult. I guess they aren’t bothered about getting any business.

Nice Dog friendly pub in the heart of Storrington. Really friendly staff, nice family-friendly atmosphere and great food. I had the Sunday roast which came with a choice of three meats; beef, lamb and Turkey plus Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes and vegetables. I had a nice glass of strongbow to accompany.

Lovely, friendly pub. Chatty attentive staff. Had a full English breakfast worthy of a 5* hotel. Would highly recommend.

Best Panini in West Sussex! Bacon, Avo, Goat's Cheese and Cranberry Jelly.

Stopped in Storrington for a few hours around lunchtime and decided to try out the Moon. Very happy having lunch here, we had really nice burgers. Table service by Lara was outstanding. Not the cheapest place (lunch for 4 with drinks was around £60) but portion sizes were very generous.

Had a lovely Xmas lunch at the Moon. Pies were A+ , 17y old Grandson enjoyed his huge badboy burger & puddings were mansize portions too. Staff were very attentive & caring. Thoroughly recommended.

Great service, food was excellent. Saturday lunchtime, pub was busy and staff told us there was a wait for food from the start but great atmosphere so we were quite happy to wait and it was worth it...recommend the fishfinger sandwich and curly fries!

Good sized portion of tasty food. Staff friendly. Dog friendly. No car park I don't think. Long stay car park in Storrington.

Despite all that's going on at the moment a slight silver lining is that we now get to discover amazing places on our home turf. The Moon is just one of those places for me.After a long day hiking through the downs the staff were friendly and charming and the food was fabulous. Seriously who ever the chef is in this place...never let them go. Everything was cooked perfectly, great quality ingredients and great portions.Rest assured with the more local holidays we've all been taking I am most certainly returning to New Moon when I'm back in Storrington again to try more of that menu!

Great vegan options, fantastic homemade nut roast and gravy with all the trimmings, nice to see this on a carvery menu. Really helpful staff and well organised service on a busy Sunday afternoon. Beer garden game is strong.
