We had a very nice experience recently at the Olive Branch. It was both mine & my daughter's birthday. We decided to go for the Burgers on the menu and we weren't disappointed they were the best we have tasted in a very long time.Dave the owner added a nice touch with Happy Birthday on our puddings.Thank youWe will definitely be back again.

Wow best burgers ever. We had a delivery, it all arrived on time and all hot. Everything you would want in a burger and more ( I had a vegi choice and it was delicious). Chips were hot and crispy and a generous portion. We will definitely order from the Burger Shack at The Olive Branch again. Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good welcoming and quick service with nice staff. Appreciate the creative vegan options and the burgers are good despite being super sloppy so be ready to eat some of it with a fork. The chips are very good too. The restaurant in the back is kind of plain, I wish it had the aesthetic of the front of house pub.

Held a party for 40th here recently, staff we're very helpful and attentive, they made it go very smoothly and hassle free. They were very flexible given the current climate and prices for the food and drink was very reasonable too. The buffet food was very nice, and I would highly recommend. Need to get in for a Sunday roast soon!

Called in to book a section for a birthday party at 12:30 and I was told they were able to accommodate. Some of the party were on time, but some members of our party were a little late due to traffic arriving at 1pm, but we were told that they had booked out the same section for 14:30, giving a party of 12 two hours to eat, drink, and celebrate. We essentially had to rush through everything, ordering for part of the group, and then quickly eating, and ordering for some of the late arrivals. We called ahead to ask if we could bring a cake for the birthday which they were happy with, but since we were rushed through the meal, and only had our 2 hour window, we didn't even bother with the cake and had to do it elsewhere where we weren't chased away. With regard to food, the portions were of a good size and many members of the party were happy with their food. I found my chicken to be a little burnt on the Club Sandwich, and for some reason, the server forgot some of the drinks orders. Decided not to send it back in case I didn't have any food in our 2 hour window.Would have much preferred the pub telling us they couldn't accommodate for our group. The table setup was interesting as it put one of the tables of our group on the other side of a half-wall with a window, essentially cutting them off from the rest of the group.*EditSince the owner decided to respond with incorrect facts, I decided to make an amendment to my review. At no such stage did I book for a party of 16. The initial booking was made for 14 people, and I called ahead of time to change it to 12. I can't be held responsible for the bookings undertaken by your staff. As I've already admitted, some of the party did arrive late, call it 1:15pm if you like. I would really have liked someone to have told me that a 2-hour window is normal, as none of my party is in the hospitality industry. I think it would also have been prudent for you, or any of your staff to inform us that you had moved the party that had booked the table after us. We probably would have stayed and we could have avoided all of this. It is also disappointing that you're quite happy to shift all the blame on everyone else rather than accept some or even partial responsibility.

Excellent!Went during a very busy Saturday lunchtime. The Landlord greeted us & arranged a table. Lovely old pub with open fireplace, clean & tidy, excellent staff, lovely pies. Our dog got lots of fuss & plenty of biscuits from the “dog bar”.There were a few men trying to gain entry bringing their own pint of beer with them, The Landlord dealt with them perfectly, he was the perfect host but sorted out any problems swiftly & quietly & professionally.

We had lunch at the Olive Branch on a damp grey November day but found a warm welcome in the cosy bar with a roaring fire. A lovely traditional English pub and one of the most historic in Horsham. The food was delicious and very generous portions and the service from Lauren and Dave was kind, friendly and efficient. A great place to go if you're visiting Horsham.

Great place, great food. Great staff... Great! Comfortable and cosy, the feel of a proper pub, but with a relaxed environment. Helpful, friendly staff, enjoyable meals... Not too expensive, but still good quality. A fabulous find.
