The Owl at Kingsfold in Horsham
Where is The Owl at Kingsfold?
🏠 Dorking Rd, Kingsfold, Horsham RH12 3SA
"The Owl is a traditional country pub in Kingsfold – a small hamlet in beautiful, green West Sussex, situated halfway between the market towns of Dorking and Horsham. The first thing you’ll notice when step foot in our pub (aside from the very warm welcome!) is the building’s beautiful wooden beams and flagstone floors that give the pub its charming character. Inside you can cosy up in front of our log burning fire, try some homely food and choose from our wide range of drinks, including a great selection of wines and real ales, featuring guests from local breweries. If you prefer (and the weather is up to it), you can pick a spot in our extensive garden seating area and enjoy whatever food and drink takes your fancy."

Probably the best pub grub me & my wife's have had since I don't know when. The staff were so helpful & welcoming too. Definitely go back again. Just wish my wife was hungry enough to have a dessert so I could have one too.

Have been here in the past and the food was terrible. The management has now changed hands and the food and service is now brilliant. Will definitely be going back again.

Proper good pub food - we had a blue cheese burger, chicken burger and Mac& cheese- all super delicious. Pub is lovely too and cozy!

Had Sunday lunch which was yummy EXCEPT the roast potatoes. I think I had 'one' cut into 4...they were so small you could hardly spot them on the plate!!!

Beautiful little pub, the food was great, enjoyed each & every bit of it.. Service was amazing & staff were attentive & friendly.. Clean & so cozy worth the drive to there for a meal... I cant wait to have a drink in there in the summer due to the location 🤩🤩

Great dog friendly pub with a really chill atmosphere and super good quality food. Had the leek and potato soup which was super rich. Good selection of beer on tap too.

I would like to thank the team for arranging the perfect Wake for my father's funeral. The setting was ideal, the food was well prepared and very tasty. The team were friendly and couldn't have done any more to make the party any better. We thank you so much for your kindness and effort.Kind regardsTina Stewart

The place was empty when we arrived. The bar staff and waiter (1 person) was fantastic. Really helpful and friendly. Great interaction with me and my parents. The food was great, far more than we were expecting abs good value for money on the lunch menu. The only downside for me was the lack of attention to cleanliness. Everything was very dusty, curtain poles hanging off, ‘stuff’ lying about that shouldn’t be in show for customers that kind of thing. If that was addressed as a priority it would be a perfect venue for lunch. The toilets were spotlessly clean although there was no soap or paper towels (empty basket). Attention to detail on the cleaning side would make a huge difference.

Great place to eat. The Sunday roast was incredible and very generous portions. Only down side was they were incredibly short staffed so there was a bit of a long wait for the food. Would certainly go back again as the food was well worth the wait.
