Really lovely village pub with great delicious food and a nice family feel. Dark star beer too!

Pub set in rural village of Partridge Green offering Dark Star beer brewed locally in the village. Hop head beer went down well. Pub been going since 1742 run by Whitbreads. Popular with locals. So rural that plenty of deer herds roaming nearby.

Nice pub with food friendly serviceWe stopped in on a bike ride down the downs link. Welcoming staff and plenty of spaceNice choice of ales on tap (the Timothy Taylor is great). A relaxing pub to spend a while having a beer and watching the world go by.

Stopped for lunch while walking on the Downs Link, and were so pleased we did! Lovely garden, really friendly staff, and the food was both affordable and delicious. Most meals (including the sunday roast) had a smaller version available (for kids or smaller appetites) and a good variety to choose from. Will definitely be back.

Very tasty and generous Haddock and Chips washed down with a lovely pint of Hophead from the local brewery.

Depends what you are looking for. We needed food and to watch football. What we got was great food and a choice of football games. Staff were brilliant. Nothing fancy but well worth a visit.
