Nice staff, drinks good and open after 9pm, which a lot of village pubs seemingly aren't

I had a very satisfying lunch of fish finger ciabatta with salad and homemade coleslaw.Lovely low-beamed old building. Mind your head!MAY 2022: I had an excellent lunch of ham, egg, peas & chips and pint of Ranmore IPA.

Very nice setting. Had a very good Burger and a generous portion of whitebait. The courteous & friendly staff really make this place too!

Have been frequenting here for 55 and the current management are the best in this time. 25 of us had a function there last night and the food and service was outstanding.

Lovely staff, helpful, polite and friendly, despite not necessarily knowing what was on the menu. Food was harty and good value. It would have been a 5* if the beer was better, it was past its best condition IMHO.

A great pub with a great garden, nice food and lovely staff. Highly recommend to anyone. Also great venue for parties / after wedding celebrations.

We ate here at lunch on a Sunday after booking for my sister's birthday. We had a large table upstairs. First time we had eaten here and what a lovely surprise. The food and service was superb. A nice range of local beers on tap .. the Dorking pale was lovely. We all agreed it was the best pub food we've had in ages. We will certainly be back! Lovely.

Gorgeous little 16th century pub, friendly staff. We were able to reserve the upstairs section for a private party which was perfect.

This is a lovely little country pub in a beautiful building. It is cozy and snug with a roaring open fire. It is a great place to go for a drink or a meal. They have a good selection on the menu and the food was well cooked and presented. They also have a nice selection of ales and wines. I can very much recommend this place and will be going back.
