I would recommend a visit to The Queens Head in Barns Green. The staff/service was excellent and the food was the same. There were 7 of us and 2 of our party needed plenty of room as difficulty walking, I had requested a table to accommodate them and this was done. Go and see for yourselves!! Thanks everyone at the pub.

Had Mother's Day lunch today for my Mum, brother and daughter. Was fabulous. Really lovely ham hock terrine which was complimented with the pickled salad and very tasty, followed by a great roast beef dinner. The beef portion were generous and thick and made a real change to have a good portion of meat from other roasts I have had elsewhere. The final course sticky toffee pudding with ice cream was the icing on the cake. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely old low-ceilinged, beamed traditional pub, with a cozy atmosphere. There was a great female duo singing live when we were there. Recommended.

Pub nearest to Sumner Ponds camping. Very good beer selection and menu. Huge portions of very, very good food...lamb tagine was delicious. Lovely roaring open wood fire. Very welcoming., look forward to visiting again.

Here for classic car show pub provided out side food and bar. A well organised event with a large number of cars on display.

Disappointing. It was a Monday night and whilst reasonably busy we weren't expecting to have to wait 1h15 for our food. There were two of their menu items not available which on a small menu section does cut options down. After ordering, we subsequently heard other tables being told there were specials (we hadn't been offered any). The fish and chips didn't come with the minted pea purée that was advertised, only frozen peas and we had to ask for the advertised tartar sauce. The Smoked Haddock, Chorizo and Spring Onion Fishcakes had salami instead of chorizo and no signs of spring onions. The mussels had several which were closed and a sorry amount of ciabatta instead of the advertised sourdough.Won't be going back.

When enjoyed their outside patio. Most of the food was delicious. My partner will recommend their pulled pork burger. And we will say for the board with Sussex cheese and all on it. The perfect combination.
