The Red Lyon in Horsham

I turned up today not having booked a table for Sunday lunch. However, it was no problem at all so I sat in the garden with my liitle dog to enjoy the sunshine. Even though it was busy I was served quickly and had the most delicious roast chicken with a wide variety of vegetables. Shall return again, it was lovely there. Thank you!

Food ok but was cold when brought to our outside table, staff very friendly but service at the bar very slow but was a busy time, will still be visiting again well worth the effort.

Wonderful Sunday lunch outdoors in the sunshine. Pub garden was very busy but we were not in a rush and service was nicely relaxed. No pressure to move on, the table service was appreciated and the roast dinner was delicious. Cheers!

I organised a walk for a walking group of 28 around Slinfold of which 23 stayed for lunch. The management and staff were very accommodating, allowing us to use their car park from 10.00am. We pre-booked our food to assist with their planning and they were very quick to provide us with an excellent variety of lunches along with well earned beers and other drinks after a hearty six mile walk. The walkers were very complimentary about the quality of the food and enjoyed the large beer garden on a sunny day. Highly recommended.

Very welcoming, spacious throughout, bar & dining areas with a large beer garden at the rear. Plenty of parking space. Great menu will suit all, nicely presented. Good choice of local brews and a quest ale available. All set in the heart of the lovely village of Slinfold.

First time at this pub. Parked in the large car park. Had a lovely walk around Slinfold with the dog. Finished off walk with a couple of pints in the large garden. Will definitely be coming back. Dog friendly too.

Pub is much bigger than it looks from the front but was very VERY quiet for my midweek birthday lunch. Savino is very pleasant but clearly needs to do something to attract more customers. Menu looks good and the sharing whitebait was nice. Main course was disappointing and portions are unequal: duck came with one piece of chicory and undercooked potatoes; pie came with carrots, mange-tout, and baby sweetcorn, with more vegetables inside, but the mash might have been made from the last batch of unused roast potatoes. Perhaps the new chef still needs a little time to settle in and refine her dishes. I wish them well!

We had a lovely Sunday afternoon , there was a live music and musician was amazing! The atmosphere is friendly and food is delicious too! Definitely come back here …

Fantastic pub, with a little play area for children, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Fantastic food! I had the best burger I have ever eaten. Great pub, and lovely staff.
