Food was excellent and a real good older fashioned country pub. Quick service polite staff. Lack of parking but who cares!

Nice staff and atmosphere. The food was good but I had a few mussel shells not opened - did not get ill though! I would happily go again.

We loved our vegetarian Sunday roast today. Nice atmosphere, good music in the background, lovely service. We will return. Thank you 😊

Always very friendly local country boozer. Better than average menu, cooked from scratch on site, not delivered by Brake Brothers.

Had a lunchtime mid week meal celebrating a birthday. The duck , venison and steak meals we had were all exceptionally well presented, cooked to perfection aa good size and tasted great. Restaurant area very quaint and staff friendly. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu choices.

Friendly country pub in beautiful village location. Regular live music. We saw Billy no Mates last week who were 'in our opinion' very high quality for a pub venue, nearly everyone up dancing with others sitting and enjoying the music. The restaurant was fully booked and always seems busy however we have not eaten there as yet.

Good atmosphere, unexpectedly large garden , look out for local ales - they also have rooms

Second visit today to the delightful pub and we will definitely be back, sooner rather than later. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is amazing. Great variety and quality at excellent value for money prices.Large garden which will be lovely when the weather warms up a bit.No dedicated car park, so only available on the quiet residential street outside but don't let this put you off. Even if you have to park a way down the road, it'll be worth it.

Just what we needed after a chilly autumn walk. We entered a very welcoming, almost familiar place. Luckily for us, there was a table free next to the fireplace to warm up our wet and cold clothes. The bartenders catered to our unusual request of tea with rum -to warm us from inside too.We even got some instructions on the quickest path to the bus stop.It might be a detour, but absolutely worth visiting this heartwarming tavern, with a familiar vibe, probably long tradition and rustic style. I hope to be able to eat a meal the next time!
