I can highly recommend the Six Bell for its warm, friendly atmosphere and service that went above and beyond when I was in need of a mixed grill👍👍

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, great customer service. Sat outside in comfortable chairs, served at the table, good sandwich.

Sunday lunch was a disappointment over cooked veg and pork was inedible. Wasn't charged for dish, but no offer to compensate.

A great quirky pub with atmosphere. I only went in the bar area so didn't see the restaurant but judging but the bits I saw, should be great too. Small car park at the front for about 12 cars. Food was excellent. Slightly at the higher end but the quality and quantity was superb. I had a chicken pie packed with meat. Had a bit of trouble organising a table in the bar, as had to order in advance but all worked out I the end. Staff were friendly and efficient. Happily would go again.

Stopped of on our travels for lunch. Good food menu and choice of real ales. Proper old pub vibe. Clean and food was good.

It's a lovely old pub in a good spot. Easy to find and lots of dining space. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good pub food but not exceptional which considering the cost is a little disappointing. It was £20 a head for burger and drinks. If I was paying this in London I would have had a better quality meal. However would not be put off coming again if I needed to eat in the area.

Stopped into The Six Bells today whilst meeting friends at the pub next door. Several of us decided to have roast dinners, which were very well put together. I liked that there was extra gravy in a nice big gravy boat. Decent roast spuds, Good variety of traditional vegetables, I just wish I had known about the cauliflower cheese, other of my friends who had arrived later than us ordered it and it looked AMAZING - but by then I was stuffed, as my roast pork had been a generously portioned plateful. And the post-dinner coffee was very good too. Friendly efficient staff. Clean and well-decorated. A perfect civilised Sunday lunch.

Great family evening at the six bells. Hosting was excellent and the food came pretty quick and most altogether considering there was 18 of us in total. The food tasted good and the portions were relatively filling having a starter and a main course meal. The pub was winter cosy with a live fire and well staffed, who were quick to offer help and serve us for drinks at the bar. Great mixture of ages too and prices of food and drinks are reasonable.
