The Sportsman Inn in Horsham

Was introduced to The Sportsman by a friend for an evening meal. Great food & friendly service. Even though we left late, they never rushed us. Will definitely return.

Had lunch at the sportsman today. We had bacon, brie and marmalade baguette, it was very nice. The drinks were a bit expensive but was worth it as the scenery was amazing, so I suppose you are paying for the views. Will definitely go back.

Lovely fod and atmosphere, a bit disappointed that when we finished our meal and asked for desert we were told food was not being served anymore. Never had that happened to me. Lovely views to the south downs.

Wonderful views over flood plains. Lovely food and prices not too bad. They do food for the smaller appetite too, which is a bonus. All that said, I had the pie of the day, and all I can say is 'yum'. Lovely.

Went on a Friday night and it was pretty busy, so recommend you book your table in advance. The food was good although we had to attract a member of staff to place our order as we had been waiting quite some time, but as I say they were busy. The problem came when the waitress brought out the wrong order and kept insisting we had ordered scampi, which we hadn't. There was no apology and we were made to feel quite uncomfortable. I think it's highly unlikely we'll return.

Just finished a delightful dinner/stay and breakfast post walk in the South Downs.The room was small but perfectly formed with a great view.The food, like the service, was faultless and outstanding value for money.

Great food and probably one of the spectacular views from a terrace of any pub in Sussex. And finally the staff are lovely.

Great pub with friendly team and good selection of beers. Superb views over the flood plains. Bring your binoculars if you like wildlife.

We had a family lunch celebrating my brothers birthday, was very well organised as we had pre ordered, service was excellent, very kind and friendly. My Vegan burger was so delicious. Highly recommended after a walk on the South Downs. Also stunning views.

Today we had a very enjoyable lunch at The Sportsman. Two of us had a burger, my brother had the pie and my sister in law had a salad. All the food was excellent and one of the best burgers we've had in a long while.The view from the inn is stunning.The staff were friendly and very afficent. Would highly recommend. Well done!
