The White Horse Smokehouse & Grill in Horsham

Could do better. Restaurant needs more atmosphere. Has potential do I won't give up on it

So often I go out to eat and just find I'm spending money to stop myself being hungry. The White Horse Smokehouse & Grill provided really great food and exceptional service. Nice warm atmoshere. Priced very reasonably, especially considering the high standard. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again!

All of us had roasts which were very nice. I've never had a bad meal here and the waiting staff are very attentive. On this occasion I found my vegetables could have hotter and I'm not sure why I had apple sauce on my plate when I ordered lamb, still very tasty though. Layout is good, easy access, we will return.

Sadly no car park as covid eating out tents were there. Difficult to find alternative parking on a Saturday and for longer than 3 hours. Food was good and nice atmosphere. Staff very pleasant.

Had Sunday roast here. Friendly staff and lovely well laid out pub. Good prompt service and the children where looked after very well.The roast chicken was excellent but unfortunately the two of us that had the beef found it to be extremely rare to the point that the centre wasn't even cooked and very difficult to cut through because it was raw. One of our party gave half of her beef to her husband because she couldn't eat it due to it being so undercooked. Posting this review because at no point did anyone ask us how the meal was! Great shame about the beef because everything else was great.

Terrible food! We ordered bbq smokehouse style brisket and smoked pork belly, received a tasteless, flaccid plate of meat, with stale crackling,and chips and coleslaw worse than Wetherspoons standard. Even the ketchup and English mustard were cheap versions that were very poor - but we needed condiments because the meal was so bland. Was like a bad carvery dinner, but cost about 15 quid each for a main.However, nice ambience and and very friendly and helpful front of house. I don’t ordinarily leave reviews but this was very disappointing.

Amazing food and amazing staff. If I lived closer I think it would be a regular place I visit for both meals and nights out. Amazing thank you.

This is a large pub in a great little town. Was surprised at just how big it was. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good choice on menu and although found the smoked beef brisket to be good quality meat it was not exactly what I would call traditional American style. Still worth a visit though if passing through. Note you will need to park in the town car park currently due to extra outside seating in pub.

Lovely food and staff. Often very busy so can be a little bit of a wait for table/service - but definitely worth it.
