The White Lion Inn in Horsham

When going back to The White Lion I was impressed with the outdoor area that was provided. Upon arrival the lack of service was obvious. We waited a long time for each step of the meal, including drinks and had to get the attention of the waitresses as we were ignored from the start. However the food was outstanding! They always have the best burgers and all our meals were excellent.

Nice set up outside. Service willing but a bit hit and miss. My food quite disappointing. Dull wholemeal bread, shop chutney and average cheese. Chips good. Others in my party much more impressed with their fish and chips and a burger

We've had some really good times here in our local pub. The atmosphere is great and they have a good selection of beers and other drinks.The food is excellent. During the covid lockdown, they have continued to provide a takeaway menu and roasts to heat at home, all of which have been faultless, generous proportions and extremely tasty.

We were having a few days away and was recommended this pub. Luckily lockdown had eased and they had a lovely marquee set up to enable more diners. The food was absolutely lovely and saw us through from lunch to breakfast the next day. Super service and nice beer!

Country pub on a quiet single track lane. Exceptional cooking for reasonable prices make it one if the best food pubs in the area. Good service too. Car park has level access to a patio door. A traditional pub not easily found but well worth the trouble. Very good food menu and not extensive but good and well priced wine list. Great choice of beers. Really friendly service. Good sized car park but can get busy as difficult to park in The Street Recommend booking if going for an evening meal.

A very traditional and friendly English country pub. Excellent and delicious food from the very interesting menu. Good size portions and served by a very nice and friendly team. Not a large place but parking at the rear for a good few cars. Well worth a visit.

Lovely pub and very friendly. As a coffee repair man my job takes me to many establishments. I have to say that this one has been a pleasure to visit and serves great beers with a real homely feel. They welcome dogs too which as a dog owner is always a bonus, although I'm not sure if any pub is ready for my 3 large dogs, maybe I will give them a try sometime and report back 😉

First time here. Absolutely gorgeous food! Will definitely be returning. Beautiful log fire making it snug and warm
