Really nice hotel. Excellent breakfast every day. Fresh fruit in pots or to add to cereal was very nice touch. It was undergoing some external work while we were there and due to a landslide we could not go directly down to the beach. Hope that can be fixed. Hotel staff were lovely. Would like to come back again when the outdoor pool is open. Bar prices good for a hotel.

My friends and I had a lovely afternoon tea at Luccombe Manor. The food, service and view were great.

The staff made us feel so welcome, nice room and an excellent cooked breakfast. My only criticism would be that it seems a little petty charging an extra £10 per night for a dog. That said he did get his own sausage for breakfast.

My partner booked this as a suprise for me and he was very disappointed when we arrived. Lots of construction work going on which was not advertised, beach access closed and the building looked very tired and dated.Room was clean but very small. Bed wasn't very comfortable nor supportive. Neither of us slept well both nights we stayed there but our main issue was walls were sooo thin, you could hear next door get in shower/bath, flush toilets, drop things etcBreakfast....well we both had eggs off the main menu the first time, tasted off and old and neither of us finished our meals. Next day I avoided the hot food and helped myself to yogurts and fruit etc that was available but my partner had full English and ate only the beans and bacon, the rest was old and stale. We would not stay again and I really don't know how they get away with there prices. The staff were friendly, location to shanklin was good but everything else...needs some attention

This hotel has an enviable position, with gardens right in front of the sea and a beautiful pool + outdoor hot tub. Breakfast is served in a very bright sun room facing the garden, the atmosphere is lovely. The rooms are OK, but I would advise to check with the staff the size of the bed before booking, if you happen to be/travel with someone tall.

Very nice hotel very clean next to the beach ⛱ and good facilities in and out doors pool and sauna Jacuzzi caters for all the family with games room for the kids and quite chill places for the adults 👌

Highly recommend this lovely place for a holiday or weekend break. Exceptionally first class service. All the staff are a credit to the owners. Situated ideally in Shanklin for touring the island. Hotel is lovely. Beautiful setting on the coast. Highly recommend a sea view. Outdoor heated pool ideal after a long day sightseeing.

Beds excellent, food good, staff friendly and helpful. Our problem was that at 80, if we can get into a bath we can't get out of it. With the general aging of the populace it would make sense to have showers.

Absolutely brilliant. Food was excellent.I cannot put into words how good the staff are. Reception staff go above and beyond, all staff we met were so friendly and helpful. The room was a bit tired but comfy and given they've had to be closed due to covid I don't suppose investment is an option just yet. There is a little tea garden in the grounds which is also lovely.A park close by for walks.Hotel accommodates pets.Recommended.We'll return for sure.

I feel like my stay there was extremely overcharged. £210 per night for 2 adults and a baby. The cleanliness not so great. I did scrub the bath tub from limescale stain to get in, mould around the bath. Dust behind beds. Dirt in the drawers. Old windows which were totally unsafe for a toddler, a child would easily slip and fall out. And yeah, placing a family with toddler in the very last room on 2nd floor, up the steep stairs - not very thoughtful. At least breakfast was decent enough. Shame the steps to the beach were closed (hotel advertising as having access to the beach, hmm not now). I would say it's not worth the price I paid and would not recommended it for this kind of money. Nice area though, and I liked the shops and Italian restaurant nearby.
