Had lovely room all to ourselves for a family party. Staff very obliging. Food was fine but just posh pub grub. Pity they threw out my granddaughters 18th birthday cards that sadly we forgot when we left

Great location. Great staff, friendly and experienced, great food and good selection of beer and wine. Red squirrels in the spacious beer garden how many pubs can say that. Really liked my stay here and Ive stayed in quiet a few places. Definitely in my top 10.

We didn't stay here but enjoyed a lovely meal here on Thursday April 14th.The staff make this place, they are friendly, pleasant, efficient and just an asset to the place. The food was enjoyed by all- good, tasty and locally sourced where possible. We will definitely be back.

Another lovely stay at the Pheasant. It has changed and they have added more rooms and made the dining area bigger. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by all the staff. They are all so friendly and really all make every effort to go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as good as possible, especially Alex who couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you we will be back!

Had loads of weekends away of late, all in lovely accommodation. But this place to stay has been my favourite. Snug, warm bedroom, luxury bathroom with best hot, powerful shower, very friendly and helpful staff and excellent food. It was bust, but very comfortable. Highly, highly recommended!!!!

Absolutely love this place. Stayed for 2 nights. Every member of staff was so friendly, spoke to me and always had a friendly smile. room service Delish.. Breakfast. Delicious. Excellent value for money. This place felt like a family run business. Apparently they allow dogs and have a dog menu. Next time I visit i will be taking my pooches.

Lovely friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful, down side no residents lounge, so on wet days no comfy chairs or areas to relax apart from your room. All available space given up to food. Would still recommend, would definitely go back.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely too. It's a great country pub, and seems very popular with families and dog walkers. Definitely worth a visit.

Bravo Pheasant Inn! What a great experience. Stayed here for a long weekend and what a pleasure. Even traveling solo, made to feel like a part of the furniture which is a measure of the ambiance and very welcoming feel of the place. I’m originally from the area and very nice to see that homely and professional service has not disappeared completely from the Lakes.Shout out to staff Richard and Jan, in fact the whole team. Phenomenal service. The whole team went above and beyond. I’ll be back, with friends/family in tow next time.Food, very good. Classics done well and a chef willing to try new things. Wish more places in the Lakes would get away from what everyone else does.

Very well looked after establishment and a very warm welcome from the young lady behind the bar. Only had the one pint which was good. Had a look at menu which seemed pretty expensive for some of the fare on offer.
