Bendula Bar & Restaurant in Isle of Wight

Some of the best ribs I've had in my life. The African chicken curry and chilli prawns were pretty bloody good too! Awesome food, awesome flavours! The owner is super nice and chatted with us while waiting for our food.

Just had a delivery to my lodge whilst on holiday. Came straight to my door. The food was amazing. So tasty. If I lived on the Isle of Wight then I would be ordering from here daily. Thanks for such nice food.

Omg this place is AMAZING! Visited the Isle of Wight for a break and had a takeaway from this place. Food was delicious, so flavoursome and fresh. Curried goat and the fishcakes are very yummy. Would recommend this place to everyone!! Thank you

Delicious food! We had jerk chicken and domada veg. Portions are generous and the food is clearly very fresh and just an explosion of flavour. Could eat this every day!

Why didn't we ever go in before? We ended up in Bendula by chance and we are so glad we took that chance! The cocktails are superb, the food is warm and cozy and home cooked like Grandma would. It is now on our "place to go". Thank you Abraham and the amazing chef!Valentina and Peter

Great tasting food with generous portions. Small tables were a little awkward to sit at so needed to move. Rowdy customers slightly ruined the atmosphere so possibly better at lunch time? Would lend itself to being an ideal take away.

What a little gem of a place!!! We went for Sunday buffet had the goat curry and jerk chicken!! Omg was addictive, in fact we went bk Monday night n got takeaway!! Goat curry, jerk chicken and jerk ribs all yet again was delicious! Got some left for breakfast!! :-)

The restaurant was warm, inviting and really chilled. Staff were amazing and just so lovely. The food - honestly so so good. I had jerk chicken with sweet potato fries - just so so yum. The jerk was spicy and luscious too. I also had a couple of cocktails and they were lush! After a rough day I was so happy to have found Bendula. Thank you folks for excellent company and super delicious food and drink.

I passed this restaurant one evening and the smells of spices and fruitiness come from it were amazing. I had to try it next day. The menu has a variety of authentic dishes. I went for Ackai and Salt fish and we also ordered some Jerk chicken. Everything was delicious and the sides were really good also. Well recommended!

Delicious food and very friendly staff. We had jerk ribs, jerk chicken and zingy fish cakes and all amazing. Even the deli sizes were quite big portions. A must try if you like Caribbean or African food.
