We were looking forward to a Birthday breakfast treat. Terribly disappointed. The place was grubby. The cutlery at my setting was dirty and the napkin had clearly been re-cycled after something else had wiped it's chops on it. Service was very poor. Waitress who brought our drinks over had a very evident cold and should not have been working front of house. Tea was served as a tea-bag left in cup. Food very average. Up your game quickly guys - we expected a lot more from you. Not a good experience. This was much better a couple of years ago. Mike.

After mentioning that we were booking for a birthday lunch we were greeted with some bits of confetti at our table which was a nice touch. The staff were just as helpful and attentive as you would hope for at a restaurant, not bothering us too much or making us feel too hurried. The menu isn't too big but it still feels like there's plenty of choice. The squid I had for starters was well cooked and not too rubbery, the pizza was delicious and also huge so I didn't manage to get through all of it. Another of our party had pizza and got through even less than me. When asking for a box to take the rest home, the staff were accommodating and offered to do it for us. I would definitely return and would like to do so when the weather is warmer as the setting of the tables outside looks beautiful.

Great 'birthday' lunch here today for my wife. Out with my son, two of my grandsons and my sister-in-law. Great food and service, very well priced too. Lovely play area for the boys...we'll be back, probably to try the breakfast experience next time!!! 👍👍👍

A last minute decision saw my partner and I use a well received set breakfast voucher from The Price is Wight for my birthday from some close friends. I attempted to book but although I couldn't get through and attempting to leave a message on their answer machine was met with a full inbox we decided to go anyway. Explaining the situation to the manager, he was very apologetic explaining they had been very busy. He still accommodated us and we had a decent enjoyable meal. COVID measures still in place, hand sanitiser available. Very good setting, large open dining area inside and bench seating outside with views of the harbour. Highly recommend.

Great location, generous portions and good quality food. Burgers were especially nice!Outdoor seating can be a bit chilly, there are a few heaters but a few more would be a nice addition.

We both had the sea bream. A splendid choice. The leek and bacon sauce accompanied the fish excellently - the saltiness of the sauce brings out the delicacy of the fish superbly. Every mouthful was a pleasure. Our meal was followed by a gentle stroll by the river and spotting the Spice Girls bus, an unusual discovery.

Well presented and clean. It was quite busy but the wait for our food order wasn't long and the staff were very pleasant and attentive.Pity other customers weren't so considerate of others as quite often I had to get up and close the main entrance doors as people who were clearly born in a barn, had no manners, or both , kept leaving the doors wide open on entry/exit, allowing heat to escape and cause an uncomfortable draught while we were trying to enjoy our lunch. Staff clearly fed up with it too.The food was reasonably priced with large portion sizes and very tasty - would recommend... justrequest a table away from the door during winter months !

Hello. We where on Sunday 15th August for dinner . We book table at 5pm. Service was very quick and professional. Our food was very nice. We had soup and mushrooms on ciabatta for starter. Main: scampi and roast lamb. Very good and tasty. Recommend very much. All staff friendly and professional. 5 stars to kitchen staff( special thanks to Ian and polish men- George). Once again we really recommend this place for nice lunch or dinner. Also the prices a very decent . Niki Santoro and wife .

Started here on the first day of IOW trip with the breakfast and finished with a late lunch on the last day. Nice place with outside seating and marina view. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Good parking too.
