Cafe Verdi by the Sea in Isle of Wight

Very friendly and accommodating to my gluten free situation. The food was great and the portion sizes were good. Lovely cakes available too. I would recommend this venue. Also allows dogs inside.

Pros:Really polite staff.Got 3 eggs not 2.Cons:Completely overcooked poached eggs, no runny bit at all.Toast was soggy from eggs, could eat less than half.Wait was about 40 minutes for poached eggs and sausage sandwich, we were there when very quiet.Coffee was not good.

Food was great as always, shame about the Dish water tea and bitter coffee. No choice of milk for Dairy intolerance sufferers

Got a tea and hot chocolate from here. Very nice but the seating area is slightly cramped.

We absolutely loved it!! Unbeatable location as you can see from the picture! Simple, but perfectly cooked & presented, great tasting food! 😋😋 They were about to close the kitchen, but they accepted our last minute order with a smile on their faces! They were very kind, service was spot on, amazing value for money!! Highly recommended & will definitely visit when back on the island!! 🤩🤩 Thanks a lot!! 😁

My husband placed and paid for our order, cakes, and 2 mains were given to us straight the way and told the rest of the ordered would be brought out to us. 30 minutes later we were still waiting. No apologises were given and when asked if I could have some extra milk for my tea, I was abruptly told to go and sit down. By the time my son got his sandwich the cake which had been given to us straight the way was all hot and nasty. Wouldnt visit again.

Lovely little cafe, simple but just what you need after a long walk around the nearby coast!Plenty of seating outdoors and inside. Friendly staff and lots of options.

Great location ... Poor cream tea! One scone, no plate, no tea pot just a mug. Not worth £4.95. Better to go for cake or ice cream. Too late for me

Friendly helpful staff and good freshly cooked food that's well worth waiting for. Dog friendly and great location.
