Food is really good, big portions, and good service as well. However the toilet is in a funny location.

Pretty dire chip shop having sampled many from the north of the UK where I assure you they have the best.Chips were cold and poorly peeled/cut.Sausage was cold and very greasy I wouldn't feed that to my dying dog.A pot noodle would of been a better choice.

Very popular place.. always a queue outside to order.. probably the best fish n chips onbthe island 🏝..go visit and try fir yourself. Highly recommended. 😊

Just been. If I could Give 0 stars I would. We choose to get two of the festive foot-long Pigs in Blankets. However, I never knew this would be such a disgusting meal. As you can see form the attached image, it was dripping with oil. The batter was way-way to thick to the point where we had to stop eating before a cardiac arrest would have occurred. Extremely disappointed, searched best on the island, and this came up. More like worst! Stay away my good friends.Edit: As Google doesn’t allow myself to reply to the company’s reply. I’m afraid I won’t be coming back. We picked up the order to take back to our location about 5 minutes up the road from the shop. It wasn’t worth my time coming back. I was so shocked at by the grease level, I didn’t want to try anything else from yourself. I’m sure the fish and chips is nice, if it isn’t covered in grease.

Excellent fish and chips, both gluten free and normal. Very good and friendly service as well.

We had a company event for 18 and decided to pre-order our food from Corries Cabin. Lovely food, well organised and great service.

A wonderful setting right in the heart of Cowes main high street, this is an obvious choice for a quick stop takeaway as any good chippy should be.However given the extremely high price point on even a basic cod supper, I did not encounter any of the bespoke experience or personable approach associated with charging a top rate. My particular experience was short, sharp and painfully plain (borderline rude) despite attempts to engage the staff in casual holiday merriment.I think that customers should beware of expecting anything more than a good fish supper from this particular chippy, and if holidaying on a budget, do not expect anything different from your regular local other than the prime location and above average taste.

This place was very expensive for fish and chips and although the chips were good the cod was overcooked and the medium portion was tiny, mostly batter.

Review covers two separate visits. On each occasion the food was excellent - really fresh fish cooked perfectly with superb chips. Very good service - friendly and efficient. 15 minute wait on both occasions but well worth it for fresh and hot food that hasn't been under a heat lamp for ages.
