Fantastic Café with excellent food and ice cream. Loved it! Obviously a phenomenal view too. Top tip: Free parking at Cafe while dining there. So move your car from the parking spot to here while eating to save on parking.

Great stop for a quick bite in this cafe. Prices were reasonable and the food itself was really good. I had a tuna panini and my husband had the soup of the day. Staff were great at helping us with heating our baby's food too. Would recommend for anyone coming by this area.

Lovely vibes, coffee was nice and there were a few milk alternatives thankfully! The tray bakes were also good and seemed fresh, and there are even some light lunch options such as paninis, salads, etc. The views are beautiful and it’s less than a 10 minute walk from the lake and waterfalls!

Lovely cafe to visit after a wet and windy walk. Clean and socially distanced. Great prices! Gluten Free, Vegetarian and dog friendly too

Good coffee, cakes and bacon bap for reasonable prices. Nicely set up with entry well spaced indoor and outdoor seating. Staff friendly and efficient, even with lunchtime rush building and cheeky customers trying to jump the queue for seats!!

We reached Buttermere and it started pouring. The first cafe in sight was this so my husband and I went it, and im so glad we did. We had a sausage roll, and the lady there was EXTREMELY kind to make me some cold coffee, even though it was not in their menu. It didn't come out right the first time, so she went through the pain of trying again. She did it without any problems, or showing any signs of irritation. I was extremely touched by the warm gesture, and cannot recommend this place enough! Can't wait to go back again <3

Friendly staff. Nice range of freshly prepared food. We enjoyed ham and cheese panini, jacket spud with tuna, smoked Appleby and chutney sandwich, plus cakes. All really tasty.

After a lovely walk around ButtermereWe couldn't decide cafe or pub.So opted for cafe.First impression very clean lovely decor.Didn't have mask,so pulled t shirt over face to enter.Told by young girl that I couldn't enter unless I had a mask, this is NOT what Boris has been rattling on for the last year( FACE COVERINGS!! )One of my group had a spare, if it wasn't for several already ordering then we would have eaten at the pub, which we did go for a drink afterwards to a much for friendly atmosphere.Top tip, as you are now and going to busy for the rest of the summer put your menu outside on a board so that customers can read and choose before entering without causing a queue. The menu by the till was so small it was difficult to read. The coffee was good. Sandwiches very fresh apart from the salad (lettuce) was past it's best.Would I come again No, go to the pub opposite due to the attitude of some staff members. Another top tip, there's a way of saying things without sound aggressive
