Eltermere Inn Restaurant in Isle of Wight

Called for lunch today.. Excellent food and great views in the beer garden.

Amazing food staff were friendly, helpful and awesome we had our dog with us who was also warmly welcomed beautiful location we would highly recommend this place .

Lovely old Inn, very clean and tidy and lots of interesting pictures. Spectacular scenery and pretty gardens. Parking is a little bit tight at busy times. We only had breakfast as the vegan choices are limited. This was very evident in the morning when I had beans, one hash brown, along with some cold avocado and what looked like wilted spinach. Not very appetising, despite telling them about the vegan breakfast when booking. On the plus side, my other half enjoyed his fruit and granola before the full English, although they forgot his toast! There was almond milk for drinks, which was good. The room was OK, although we weren't impressed by the short tap on the washbasin. Bathroom was clean and reasonably sized. Sprung bed not comfortable for me but I'm sure others will like it.

A beautiful country manor house with just 12 bedrooms. Food was absolutely amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We had 2 nights there and wanted to stay longer. We will definitely be returning.

Old Inn with great atmosphere and quirky rooms with squeaky floorboards and occasionally noisy water pipes.Lots of character and generally good food - some dishes exceptional.

The staff are so friendly and the food is top quality. Great selection of drink to choose from the bar. The hotel and views are absolutely stunning with beautiful gardens.

Had lunch here yesterday, the bartender/waiter was just the best, and when they had ran out of a certain item on the menu they helped us mix and match what they had to make a big enough salad type option for lunch. The salad was very fresh and tasty and so was the fish and chips.Amazing view from the front lawn.

I found the service exemplary, the food delicious and the views fantastic. Entering my room I was impressed with the scale and attention to detail. A walk-in shower with a view, huge bed and a roll top bath. My food was top notch, pigeon starter and venison loin were delicious. The lounge has a lovely view and we had a few drinks before supper. Breakfast of Eggs Benedict was perfect. Service was prompt, attentive and polite. I'll be back.
