I went during my anniversary a few weeks ago and I loved it. The food was super tasty. The staff were incredible, checking up on us consistently. The view was incredible. Definitely will go again when I come back to IOW

Staff very friendly & helpful. Our meal of fish goujons and chips was excellent. The batter was delicious. Evening entertainment was available, but we were on tight schedule, so we were unable to stay.

A wonderful host and a wonderful pub and restaurant. The staff were attentive without being in your face - they were cleaning the table as soon as someone left. Excellent service and excellent food! We're just gutted we only found it on the last night of our holiday. It's not a chain pub so everything seems original and home made which is a rarity on this day and age. Hope to be back soon.

It was enjoyable with live music and they were quite welcoming. The waiting staff have great attitude and perception.

Had a fantastic time here. We came on the 18th April (Monday) and 6 of us had food. All meals were excellent and appropriately priced according to most seaside areas.Staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. Well done to them.We also stayed for the Monday quiz and had a great time. Lots of rounds and half time nibbles were appreciatedFor any holiday goer looking for something to do on a Monday eve I definetly recommend this place. Will 100% return when we come back to the Isle of Wight.

I ate here last night with my family for the first time, and I’m so glad I did! We’ve been coming to the island for holidays since I was a child and not once have we ever tried this place ( I wish we had ) the food was absolutely incredible , you can really see a lot of effort goes into the presentation and the taste was so good! The lady who served us was so lovely and kind and at one point even brought my young daughter some toys to play with as she was getting a little vocal (she’s 1)When we left the restaurant it was a little crowded by the door so the lady personally asked people to move for me to get my pushchair through, all these little things made our experience here so enjoyable , we will be back now every time we visit the island and we will recommend to all our friends and family, Thankyou for a thoroughly delicious meal and really lovely experience the whole time we were here!

Good selection of beers on tap, good location and layout but poor quality food and manager hostile to criticism.Pictures -"Chicken burger & chips" (dry, bland and unappetising. Left uneaten)."Baked potato & tuna" (seemed more like a part boiled potato with a leathery skin. Refunded).Final verdict - Pop in for a quick pint then go elsewhere for food.Shame.

We booked a table and went for a Saturday dinner. They gave us a nice table with a view of the beach. Service was alright. The food that we ordered was not great. The best ones were the french loaf that came with the stilton cheese broccoli soup and the garlic bread that came with the lasagne. The food could have been better if the melted cheese was cooked more to make the top brown and crispy. This was not the case for both the lasagne and the cheese fries as you can see from the pictures. The dishes were loaded with too much undercooked cheese. The fries under the cheese was pretty undercooked too so the dish was not enjoyable. We did not enjoy the stilton cheese in the cream of broccoli soup which gave it a smell. The guitarist who played live music was fantastic which added to the nice ambience.
