Golden Sands in Isle of Wight

This is probably the tastiest chips I’ve had for a very long time, coupled with friendly service. The lovely lady vendor gave us some paracetamol tablets when she knew my daughter had a headache.

Huge selection of ice creams (probably about 30 flavours). Also dog ice creams, and sorbets suitable for vegans. '1 scoop' is actually two pretty big ones. £2.75 for a single. £3.75 for a double

Delicious ice cream! Great service from a young gentleman, who let me try a flavour before purchasing. They had sooo many flavours to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone. They sell dog friendly ice cream too!

Closed for the season. Don't trust the opening times on Google if trying to go out of season. Disappointing after trying to navigate the maze of closed roads to get there.

It was a grey and a windy day, it was 30 mins wait for food that day. Cooked to order. Definitely worth the wait, food was hot, fish was flaky, batter was crisp, chips were good and all not greasy at all. Lovely fish and chips, thoroughly recommended

Super friendly staff! They cater well for vegans too! We asked if they could make us some vegan friendly chips as in most chippys they fry the chips in the same oil as the meat. They were happy to accommodate!

Easily the best burger I've had on the wight,Serving staff are friendly and open.Plenty for your money, no bold claims about themselves, however had a line every time we passed, simple advertisements outside stating prices, a definite must in Ventnor.

Been frequenting this local restaurant for years whether for just a cuppa and a chat or for their splendid breakfast and other delicacies. You will always get a fabulous welcome from the girls, Paige and Phoebe, and of course Kyle who is the man who conjures everything up in the kitchen. After hearing many times of their splendid fish and chip supper I decided to give it a go recently. Well, what a treat! Plate piled high with chunky chips and succulent fried cod, an compliment of salt, vinegar and a bowl of tomato dipping sauce, two thick slices of buttered brown bread and accompanied with a cuppa; the meal was superb!Please pay this friendly restaurant a visit whether you are local or holidaymaker; you truly won't be disappointed!

Lovely service and humongous portions for a fair price. Loved the ice cream, rum and raisin was delicious. Just cross the road to the beach. They accept. Are payments, paid £7 for two double portions.
