Jade Garden Bembridge in Isle of Wight

Terrible food , it was all the same sauce which was like thick cheap congealed jelly gravy. No taste no flavour and just quite disgusting. Prob the worst take away I’ve ever had. Food was returned. I do not recommend this take away.

Read the reviews on this and thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt, well I should of trusted the reviews, this was by far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. For starters we had hot and sour vegetable soup, just a tub of tasteless wall paper paste, disgusting with no heat whatsoever. Main was beef and blackbean sauce, tasted nothing like blackbean sauce and hardly any actual beef in the dish. Also ordered chicken chowmein which is one of my favourites, this was the worst I’ve had, dry and flavourless with yet again minimal chicken in it. All in all this was about as tasteless as it gets and ended up in the bin, total disappointment.

Lobed it well priced and great food

Ordered a take away with parents, dad got a chicken chow main, a couple of hours later, was constantly being sick. Feeling dizzy and still sick for days after. Called my doctor and he said I had 90% food poisoning. The others who had also different dishes wernt great either. Shame cause it used to be good.

Got our order wrong and then tried to blame us and then got us new food. Us wanted to the old food back to sell on. How disgusting. Can't talk to them about complaints

Didn't really fancy a Chinese but at just gone 2100 on a Saturday nothing else close by open. Was very pleased with the dish we had and will visit again when in the area.

Lived on the island for four years and have had takeaway meals from all over, but this was genuinely the worst I've ever had.The spare rib sauce was bland, the chicken balls batter was overcooked and too salty, the chop suey was stodgy and tasteless, and the Singapore fried rice that I specifically asked to be extra spicy, didn't taste like it had any chilli in at all.Overall very disappointing meal and I will definitely will not be returning. I genuinely hope that for their business' sake that they were just having a "bad day at the office"...!!!? 🙄

Not the nicest, only just edible. I won't be going back. The food was really bland and the portions are smaller. The bean sprouts in the chow main were still raw. The sweet and sour sauce was watery and flavourless. The prawn crackers were ok just a little tough. I will be going back to the one in Sandown next time

Seriously, like the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Tastiest pork curry. Chips are chips aren't they? Boiled rice to perfection and amazing barbecue spare ribs. Friendly service, freshly cooked and delicious flavours. Move to Isle of Wight for a Chinese restaurant? Not yet but tempting lol.
