Kimbo's in Isle of Wight

Never expected takeaway food to have been this tasty…it’s not because we were hungry, we just fancied something simple and quick. This was a solution and exceeded our expectations. I did wonder when waiting the number of patrons that ordered and collected. It wasn’t just one or two items, it was a lot to feed a family! Great effort guys and keep it up.

Wow. Great food. Very friendly and quick. Best Chinese I've had. Family loved the chow mein, chicken balls and the honey pork was amazing. If only I didn't live 350 miles away.

Definitely best Chinese takeaway on the island. Owner kindly suggested more expensive alternatives with no extra charge.

Food was ok (just ok) but prices are ridiculous. Nearly £10 for 3 small pots of curry sauce. Cheapest supermarket chips £3.20. We paid £30 for two of us when the same order is less than £15 back home. Avoid.

Banging food, guy on the phone taking my order was patient aswell. Really impressed, chow mein was great salt and chilli chicken was even better 10/10

Forgot my Satay Sauce and Duck Spring rolls ect. When phoned up they played gamed and DID NOT help. They stated they was sending more and that it would be ten minutes, Waited a hour and it did not show up. Phoned a second time and they was sarcastic and upped the previous arranged price trying to get more money. Not happy with the order.

Definitely recommend my favourite restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff with delicious food.

My partner ordered last night over the phone and collected from shop.We spent £40 approx on three meals.On sitting down to eat my own I noticed a difference in the smell and initially thought they may have tweaked their recipe slightly,however,this was not to be and I discovered to my disgust that some portions of the meat( chicken?) were decidedly past their best.In short,they stank!I immediately stopped eating and asked the others how their food was,in turn, each expressed dismay on the quality of their dish and was deciding to curtail their evening repast in favour of continued reasonable health.So,the outcome was,three meals ,inedible through incorrect preparation/ingredient quality,or both, in the bin!We have eaten from them before quite a few times and I have to say this was the first time the food was 'suspect' so I decided to give them a ring and express my dissatisfaction.I was told that our food had been freshly prepared with quality ingredients,(of course they would,wouldn't they), and that under no circumstances when food has left the premises do they offer any form of redress in way of replacement or a refund.( I did ask as to how else was one supposed to inspect their meal until said meal had arrived at the desired location.(i.e. our table,)but was met with a slightly 'tumbleweed moment' of silence from the other end of the phone.)Unfortunately,during the night,my suspicions regarding my own particular menu selection were confirmed by numerous visits to the bathroom,( at this point I choose discretion and invite you,dear reader, to use your imagination.)In short, If you wish to live life 'on the edge' regarding your well being then by all means partake,If on the other hand,you decide to err on the side of caution one can only recommend that you seriously entertain the option of dining elsewhere.

Just had the best Chinese takeaway from here.. food was absolutely fantastic, and service was top notch. The lady that owns the place with her husband, had us in the knots laughing. Will defo be back. 5 star plus all around

The best Chinese takeaway on the Isle of Wight. Mrs Lee does an excellent job in the restaurant and is extremely friendly and polite. The food tastes amazing and also the service is very fast. It is very well priced and also the portions are good sizes. It is good for group orders too as they do bundle deals. I recommend this restaurant for the best quality Chinese food on the Isle of Wight! Thank you.
