Lake Fish bar in Isle of Wight

Went earlier and got Medium Chips, Curry Sauce and Battered Jumbo Sausage. Everything was very tasty and the young women behind the till was lovely! Looking forward to going back again, next time going to try their fish cake.

Best fish and chips on the island, the fish was firm and meaty, chips were just how I like them,not swimming in grease.very well portioned too,I've a good appetite but couldn't eat it all.staff really friendly and polite,you can tell it's a good one because people were queuing up out the door

Driven past this place so many times but never been in. The battered sausage was delicious! Should have tried it years ago. Shop is very clean inside and staff friendly. We will be returning for more!

Best fish and chip shop I've been to. The food is delicious, the shop is spotless, the owners are hard working and provide a cheerful and personal service while encouraging respect for everyones personal space. A real hub in the community? A lovely family business

Incredibly friendly staff, very high quality fish and chips. My wife was very complimentary about the burger she had also. Car parking is a bit painful, but there's an almost hidden car park not far away that solves that problem nicely.

Fabulous sausage and chips, great staff too. We don't eat fish, bit it looks great. Better than other chip shops we've tried.

As recommended by the Garlic Farm came here for a midweek takeaway supper. Had large cod, battered sausage, chips and kids meal box. Portions were very generous excellent value for money. Fish nice and moist, batter crispy, yes a little greasy but hey it is fried in oil! My daughter was thrilled with her kids chicken nuggets meal presented in oddbods box, with a drink, colouring activity drink and a sweetie. Was very pleased with our meal.
