Food was amazing and came fast. Waiter was extremely polite and charming. Ordered fish and chips and milkshake, such good value for money.

After walking from Quarr Abbey along the coastal path, we stopped here for food and drinks. Hadn't been here for 9 years but the menu was the same and the food and service was just as good as it was then.A great cuppa, filling breakfast and a super chocolate nut sundae.

Whenever we visit the island, we make sure to make time for a bite to eat here. Reasonable prices and generous portions of lovely, fresh food. The staff are friendly too, and the location is handy.

What a lovely find on our recent trip to the IOW. The young lady that served us was amazing, so polite and helpful, a great asset for this lovely cafe. The food was lovely and the tartar sauce was the best we have ever had. Will definitely be returning to this great little place on our next trip.

Had a quick bite to eat today. Had the scampi dip. The tartare sauce was perfect for the salad that came with it. Such a polite waitress. Will visit again when we come back to Ryde. Thank you

The guy who served us was absolutely lovely! I feel that the way he spoke to us & delivered the food & service, he should be working in a 5 star restaurant, not there! Unfortunately the decor completely let's the place down. It's so dated & smells pretty bad upstairs. Such a shame as they have a fantastic location & the seaviews from upstairs are beautiful! I do feel with abit of money invested, a freshen up with some paint & new flooring, this place could be something amazing! It's also very quiet in there, even with other customers talking, you do hear every word they are saying & so you feel you have to whisper to have abit of privacy. That being said, it is always busy in here when we've walked by, I think this is due to the low prices & great service. The food wasn't bad & you get alot for your money so I can't give it any lower than a 3 star :) Hope this review doesn't come across too negatively!

A lovely place to eat, wholesome and freshly cooked food to fill you up for a good walk around Ryde. We have been here twice with our daughters (6&8yrs old) and their plates are always clean. Nice, traditional, well portioned meals and we can recommend the happy hour cream teas - A mug (instead of a pot of tea) of tea or coffee with 2 warmed scones accompanied with butter jam and clotted cream for a give away price of 3.95!

A super little olde world cafe with a huge menu selection. They also have an extensive children's menu.Everything covered from a mean breakie to roast dinners, they even do jelly and icecream (which takes you back to to childhood birthday parties). You can get tea and scones at any time of the day. If you think school dinners then this is about the mark. Portions are plentiful and the hot choc drink is delicious. It is situated on the seafront so good views out to sea. Toilets are upstairs. Staff are friendly and helpful.
