Longbeach Bar in Isle of Wight

The real deal that the locals prefer. This bar is situated in the perfect spot to watch the sunset at Colwell Bay. Forget the fancy place further along the prom, this is the real deal that's busy with locals and astute visitors. Sure, you can pay a lot more for a fancy experience elsewhere but Gary and his team serve good value, no- nonsense food and we'll priced drinks. Whilst the interior looks like a set from Phoenix Nights, the atmosphere and good value means it all comes together to add to the experience and the star of the show is the views outside as the sun sets. If there's a downside, it's that this isn't open all year round. Can't wait to visit again.

Lovely views over the Solent

Rather soul-less bar with food, overlooking Colwell Bay. The view is nice, but this is attached to a holiday apartment site, and that's the sort of functional standard you will get here. Not one to make an effort to get to, but ok if you happen to be close and need some refreshment.

Great sunset but unfortunately the food was really bad. Tasted like frozen food that we buy in the supermarkets. Really disappointed.

You feel comfortable. Staff are very polite ,kind and lovely.
