Makkie’s Pizzeria in Isle of Wight

We dined in last night, had the prawns and calamari for starters and couldn't believe how amazing they tasted, for mains we had the seafood spaghetti and Di paola spaghetti and again absolutely delicious couldn't fault any of the dishes. Fantastic service and was great to be able to see and smell your food being cooked close by. Definitely will be visiting again.

Very nice pizzas and friendly family-run business. I ordered pizzas for collection and they were perfect timed and hot when I arrived. Good prices and values, we had 3 pizzas from there and all were consistently delicious. Side coleslaw was a large serving and very nice. Keep up the good work.

Highly recommended food was so beautifully cooked to a very high standard really like that it's cooked in a real pizza oven and the owner even bought out a fan to cool up down as it's been a really hot lately also so kind and polite towards us definitely going again definitely worth going for a full Italian experience thanks again guys !!!!!!😃😃😃😃

Best pizza I've tried in a while. If you ever come across Shanklin in Isle of Wight - this place is the first to go! Also had pasta Bolognese, that tasted like heaven! Wish I could do 6 stars. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

Amazing pizza.. my picky husband and son just could not stop praising the pizza they ate.. my husband even commented that this was the best pizza he has ever had in his life.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.. the hospitality we got was amazing with the owners stepping.. we got to eat a specialty..

Fantastic Pizza. The chef took extra care to ask how to make pizza customised for us and complimented with a cheese pizza for my son.All three Pizzas were too good and the group finished it all including the children.

Do not recommend! Came to eat here as we enjoyed it before, however the whole experience was terrible this time. The waitress was reluctant to let us sit in and eat, didn't provide menus and instead asked "what you want, pizza?". She also had her young child with her, who instantly come to our table and pushed my belongings off the chair so he could sit with us. He then was walking all over the tables and she was running around after him trying to feed him spaghetti. We were the only people in there which made the whole thing really uncomfortable, it felt more like we were in their living room. The food was nice, but doesn't make up for the fact that everything else was horrible. Also find it so disgusting that the waitress had no shoes on and was walking around in grubby socks while serving us.

Fantastic pizza with great dough and a wide range of toppings. We had the Greek Style Pizza a Pepperoni Pizza and a capresi salad. Generous portions, friendly service and beautifully cooked pizza.

Absolutely fantastic! Best pizza my wife and I have ever had. In our experience we have found stonebaked pizza to have a soggy top or soggy base, that's not the case here. For lack of a better word it was amazing. Highly recommend it. Lovely sit in area and staff were very friendly.
