Miga in Isle of Wight

Really pleasant staff and the food overall was really good - we were a little apprehensive after reading some reviews but the food tasted fresh and was delicious. Our only criticism would be that the taste was slightly muted - hot dishes weren’t that hot and dishes with ginger/garlic/chilli etc.. needed more oomph!

Not the best, but not the worst! Decent pricing and portions but lacking a little flavour. Will order again but such a shame that they don’t offer a delivery service to Wootton Bridge customers

The food has always been v.good but tonight it was excellent :)

As this was the closest Chinese to our holiday site we waited until Wednesday to order and it didn’t disappoint - great portion sizes and very yummy too!

Being nearest Chinese to my holiday home for the week I decided to give Miga a go for dinner, a very pleasant young man behind the counter tock my order quickly and was very much looking forward to it. Within about 10 minutes my order was ready. Got back to the holiday home to find one of the items orderd was wrong. It seemed to be beef curry instead of chow mein. Have to say after going back to get the the correct item it was extremely disappointing.

I've ordered from here a few times now. Good food and a very fast turnaround with my orders being ready to collect 15 minutes from phoning through.

First ever review, thought I'd risk Miga considering some of the other reviews and I can't express how wrong they were.Best Chinese takeaway I've ever had, the Lemon chicken comes with sauce separate so the chicken stays crispy... inspired!!Saigon chicken might be the best dish ever created!The mixed hor d'oeuvres, :O... best sesame toast since time began.Go most weeks, usually wait 20-30 mins, well worth it.Don't second guess it! get yourself a Miga

We searched for good reviews, we were slightly worried about the few bad reviews. I love Singapore fried noodles, so we ordered it against all the review advice. We were totally happy with everything we ordered, the food was definitely 5* we eat out regularly and know good food. I'm fussy when it comes to Chinese food as have had a couple of bad experiences. I've also sampled from various takeaways around the world and this was easily amongst the best I have had. It was an unexpected pleasure and I will definitely be returning when next on the Island. My parents live in Wootton Bridge - lucky me!!

Told it would be a 30 minute wait from order to collect. Ended up being 75 minutes. Barely an apology. No offer of compensation. It was only after an hour that I had to ask what was happening. Really poor. Never had service like it on the island.It's OK if you get busy and timescales slip... Its how you deal with it. And they were awful.
