Murrays Seafood Restaurant in Isle of Wight

Some good options on the main menu as well as specials. Really good service, great value. Service was a little quick for my liking.

Absolutely lovely food , had the lunch time menu , great friendly staff , highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal at Murray's tonight. Salt and Pepper squid was lovely and fresh, Cod fillet in a prawn and lobster sauce was delicious and cooked perfectly. Lovely service from the staff, will definitely return again 🙂

Lovely little restaurant in the heart of cowez, good selection of fish dishes and for those in the party that weren't mad on fish there were alternatives. All food was freshly cooked and presented lovely.

The best choice of fish and seafood on the Isle of Wight. Impossible to choose from Dover Sole, plaice, lobster etc all perfectly cooked with lovely home made puds. Very friendly too and the half bottle of chablis is delicious!

Enjoyed our dinner. Seafood was fresh. Preparation was unfussy but to the point. Fish soup was a little under salted but we were able to season it to our liking with the salt on the table. White bait was nice and plump. The crab and avocado salad was well portioned.Did not take a picture of the Smoked Haddock and the Plaice we had. They were both good. The Clotted Cream Ice Cream was good.

We went for lunch and the seafood was done beautifully! Lovely specials menu to choose from. And the oysters were delicious too! Do expect the specials to be done fairly simply - boiled potatoes and vegetables, but frankly that's what you'd get in the best seafood restaurants in the Mediterranean!I saw from some other reviews about a somewhat cold service... Sure, it's not the warmest of service but certainly professional and not unfriendly.

We went there twice during our holidays on the Isle of Wight. The food was amazing, it was very fresh and delicious. I had a half of boiled lobster and vegetables, my husband had a cod in lobster&tiger prawns sauce. All Covid rules are in place and the service was really nice.

Homely food with good portions and quality seafood! Luckily they managed to fit us in due to a last minute cancellation but the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend booking before turning up as the restaurant isn't very big. The house white wine was delicious!! Only tip I would give to the restaurant would be to play some music and add some low mood lighting or candles on the table to give that ultimate experience.

All things are wonderful! Nice food and good service. Lobster and salmon is extremely delicious.
