New Holmwood Hotel & Restaurant in Isle of Wight

Love staying here, great location if you're interested in the comings and goings of Southampton Harbour.

Lovely roomClean, well decorated comfy bed , quiet lovely fluffy towels kept warm on heated towel rail plenty of hanging space for clothes, hot water all the time shower & bath great . Service excellent nothing to much troubleFood …. Breakfast & dinner excellent choice very tastyOnly down side was view….. definitely come again but would like a better view of the sea from our room

Went to a wedding and can honestly say was an amazing venue food was delicious service was brilliant the staff worked tirelessly to ensure a lovely evening was had by all thank you 😊

Our daughter paid for a 3 course meal a nights stay which includes breakfast and wow had a fantastic evening the food was gorgeous breakfast was really great the staff very attentive definitely recommend

Location is good, with some rooms having ocean views. Older building (like most hotels on the Isle of Wight) so the rooms have some quirks like odd placement of power outlets. Great private bathroom and shower, decent TV, yea kettle, hair dryer and desk to work at. Although the chairs and desks aren’t an ideal combo that makes for semi awkward ergonomics. Breakfast was good. Continental buffet with option for hot breakfast.

Location perfect as it's looking over the sea. Friendly staff. We only had hot drinks which was very nice Will certainly go back again when we next visit the Isle of Wight.

My daughters wedding was held here, such great service from the wedding cerrmony the fabulous lunch to the evening buffet and party . All the staff are helpful a big thank you to David and Kathy for a wonderful weekend.

Just returned from a 7 night stay. Everyone from the receptionists, restaurant staff (especially Kathy who tried to keep my cheeky hubby under control) and housekeepers were very friendly and to be honest couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the quality and quantity we had. Our room was good and can't fault it and were cleaned and restockec every day. We will definitely be returning. As part of a group of 4 walking the IoW coastal path, we needed clean, comfortable overnight stays to help us on our way. New Holmwood has great views from the restaurant. The food was freshly cooked and high quality despite a large menu selection. All staff were very astute and friendly but the waitress in the evening was particularly good with a great sense of humour. Great stay.
