Pier View in Isle of Wight

Excellent food - steak good quality meat and cooked well. My platters on two occasions were really good and children loved their meals. Good ambience and service. Will visit again next time we’re back n the Island.

It charges the same price for a pint of lager as it does for the same lager shandy. What a rip-off. It must be providing very expensive lemonade.

I probably shouldn't be writing this awfully positive review as it might irritate them but I must say that the service was amazing. Super friendly bartender and the gent that brought our food was very attentive. It's a really solid pub and I recommend a visit for beer and food. I had two meals from the daily specials (I was starving) and both were excellent. Colleague of mine swears by their homemade lasagna and apparently compares it to his own recepie. Try it yourself!
