Fab little Italian, delicious pasta and pizza. Great service. We visited twice in our holiday week, it was that good. Worth getting the floating bridge chain ferry from West Cowes. Do book though, was busy on Saturday night.

Wow! I grabbed some nduja and mozzarella dough balls and the seafood spaghetti as I was waiting for the ferry back to Southampton as I'd driven past the restaurant and it was busy. Not only was the waitress super friendly, letting me order and asking the chef's to prepare quickly, the food was INCREDIBLE. I'd eaten a lot of good food on the island and this was actually one of the best! The dough balls were home made, delicious and hot and the pasta is difficult to find words for. I literally can't wait to get back to the island just to visit here again!

Prego is a lovely little restaurant! We came here on our holiday, and had a pizza and pasta. The food was delicious! The staff are also so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend! Would love to eat here again when we next go to the Isle of Wight!

What a find. A perfect little place to eat Italian food.Myself and my husband had supper here last night and it was so delicious from start to finish.I had the garlic bread with cheese to start and spaghetti bolognese, my husband, dough balls and a vegetarian pizza. Our meals were hot and so tasty. The dough was light and crispy. Perfect! When next visiting the IOW we will def be returning. The staff were lovely and very friendly too! Thank you for a perfect evening.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing, the blend of flavours and quality of ingredients was second to none. We have eaten there in the past and thought it was very good, but this time it was even better. The place itself has a friendly rustic feel and the staff and service was excellent. Can't wait to eat there again.

Best Italian in cowes hands down.Accommodated my request for chicken in my dish when it was on the menu as a vegetarian option.Wine was a bit expensive but didn't stop us buying a few bottles during the experience. The dessert chocolate brownie should be named a sponge really as that's exactly what it is. I did eat it although I was looking for the "brownie" as advertised.I'll still give it 5 stars because of how exactly cooked the pasta was and how flavourful the dish was.

loved this little gem. Lovely little place with outstanding menu, service and atmosphere. Really well done food enjoyed by all of our party, and we have fussy eaters. The dough balls as a starter were particularly amazing. never thought something simple could be so nice!!

Great food and even better service! Stopped in before our ferry crossing, hoping to eat with less than an hour to spare. Seated straight away and assured they'll do their best to get us in and out ASAP. About 10 minutes after ordering, we found out our planned ferry was cancelled - we could either run now hoping to catch the earlier standby or wait for the next one in 3 hours! The lovely ladies didn't bat an eyelid, bill ready and food packed to takeaway within a couple of minutes. We made it and enjoyed our delicious pizzas on board, making other passengers jealous. Thank you so much again and sorry for the hassle!!

Fantastic,Small, inviting restaurant. Clearly a lot of care has been put in across the board, upcycled and reused furnishings throughout.Simple menu, reasonably priced, left us satisfied and still feeling very good after a filling meal,Was recommended to us by an islander but only were able to go on our most recent visit, we'll worth the wait
