Having driven by a few times in the past and saying "we should try there, it looks good", we finally stopped in today for a midday meal. The car parking is plentiful with loads of room. The Inn is placed on the Airfield boundary so it's great to sit and watch the planes flying in and out.The staff were very pleasant and polite. We ordered our food from the bar, however the tables have buttons on which alerts staff to you wanting service - a great idea, although we didn't need it once because the staff were doing a great job at checking up on us. We were offered a tab for the table without having to ask for it, which is something I particularly like from eateries. The food came out in a short amount of time and was great; in fact the ribs I had were some of the best I've eaten anywhere! Before ordering our desserts, we asked if we could be moved outside because the sun had come out. The staff were more than happy to move us without any hesitation.Overall great service and exceptional food. A place we will visit again the next time we visit the island.

If you're staying near here then it's definitely a place to go for reasonably priced good quality food.Friendly staff - the owners/manager on site and hands on.Sharing camembert, ceaser salad and ribs all amazing food

Booked a table for 12, service was excellent and staff really helpful. Food was really good. Just lacking in gravy, no problem for staff to grab more.

Fantastic food, excellent service, and great portion sizes. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, and all were friendly and welcoming. Everything very clean and hygienic - including the high chair for our youngest (many places' highchairs are neglected/grubby).Sadly, as is always the way, we only found this gem on the last night of our stay!Best food on the island in our holiday experience!Recommended.

We love this place and have been many times always very good, this time it was quiz night ,we came second from bottom and won some mushrooms. The service as always welcoming and the food good I had surf and turf,my friends had curry which was good but the fish and chips my wife ordered was overcooked she couldn't eat it .the matter was handled well by the young team we were not charged, although we wish the food had been served correctly.Pity cos they are nice people.

What an amazing place! The food is superb and the staff make the place a home from home! Great views and a lovely atmosphere. We arrived (unknowingly!) on quiz night and decided to join in which turned out to be really good fun. The drinks are great too. If your on the island then this place is 100% worth a visit!

Really enjoyed our Cesar and Cajun salads. Lovely meal with a view of the airfield. There is outside seating and is dog-friendly. Staff are really nice and so helpful. They are also great catering for allergies. They have a separate fryer for GF so the fries are ok for coeliacs. So happy that I could have chips! We will be back.
