This young couple of Inn keepers used to own The Two Bouys at Ryde. Attention to detail remains great menu, food, staff and atmosphere.

We came here for lunch as prior to lockdown had really enjoyed the varied and sometimes slightly unusual dishes. I always like to have something new. However the menu was very short and not what I was expecting. I personally had the cauliflower soup which was under blended and under seasoned. My burger again under seasoned and the potato flavour in the chips was bland, this seems to be the norm nowadays but disappointing.Pudding was a crumble and was nice but was biscuit topping really not crumble. The service was pleasant and calm. I am not sure I will be returning soon.

It was really good ,staff fab the moules were fabulous ,apparently from st austell.one of our party had a suet pie, which is the taverners u.s.p. which he didn't like, the staff dealt with it really really well.good atmosphere, cosy but the toilets need refurbishing.

A wonderful meal with friends today. The steak pie was delicious with beautiful pastry and lots of yummy gravy. But the sticky toffee pudding was incredible!! A lovely cosy atmosphere and great staff. We will be back soon

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly service. Trout was excellent. But perhaps avoid the steak.

My family and I enjoyed a delicious meal at The Taverners last Wednesday evening.Tim and Lexi made us feel very welcome and after a long day sightseeing, we enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the food at this restaurant. My husband and son had the fish and chips and I enjoyed the burger and chips meal along with a special gin cocktail to wash it down with.We would recommend this restaurant to everyone and hope to return there next summer. Thanks to everyone for a delicious meal and excellent customer service. This was my first visit to the Isle of Wight and it’s these sorts of experiences that make wonderful memories.

Really enjoyed the ploughman’s here. Super tasty ingredients! Sadly the ale selection was super limited, but overall a great lunch!

What a lovely pub! Great service, food and ambience.A good selection of meals, all reasonably priced and enjoyed by our party. At time of writing, table service was still in use for all and the staff were excellent. Attentive and polite.

Absolutely brilliant pub, very attentive service, food was excellent (and massive!). Really good value, and definitely a place we'll come back to next time we visit the Isle of Wight.

Had a very enjoyable lunch. Moules followed by sticky toffee date pudding. Great beer and gin cocktails. Excellent friendly service. Will be back.
