Red Lion in Isle of Wight

This pub is an absolute gem!, we had a fantastic meal for four and you would be silly no to come and dine here! A lovely cosy village pub that packs a punch!

Friendly staff. Nice food and relaxing break. Rooms refreshed daily and good facilities on site. Glorious views. Very short walk to Yarmouth where a breeze bus can take you all around coast. Be brave on the open top views are worth it and bus driving amazing on these small roads.

I have to thank the staff at the local Co Op for recommending this place. Lovely, lovely, lovely.A warm welcome greeted us, and accommodated us as a table of 2 chance for supper. I would recommend booking, next time we visit the island we will. The food was delicious.

As day-trippers to Yarmouth, The Red Lion made the ideal pitstop on the way to Freshwater Bay. On a sunny day the pub garden is hard to beat, with friendly staff, and good selection of pub food

Essential country pub on the edge of a town, Estuary and circular walk. Good beer.

Amazing food and amazing service in this amazing "classic" pub. We popped in the other day for a swift beverage and we loved it so much we went back the next day and had dinner! This pub is a true gem of a find, highly recommended. Thank me later. 🙂

Stopped for lunch mid-cycle. Great food, but make sure you're there before 2:30pm to order. Caesar Salad and Fishfinger sandwich were great, good selection of low/no alcohol free beers too.
