Had a VERY unpleasant experience with a woman that served me! I bought an icecream for my 5 yr old son, when i realized it was already open & asked her to please change it, she SNATCHED it out of my hand & made a fuss. Tryed to blame my son & wax rude. As soon as i payed & my back was turned, I heard her blaming my son again & being rude about him. I was very angry & upset! obviously she had never heard of the customer is always right! And to make it worse i saw her put the opened icecream back in the freezer!

Tiny burger and a can for £10 seems steep. Burger is also quite chewy. Nice location and fine for a drink but I'd not get any food here.

Excellent food and friendly staff!I took my friends here when we were down from London, we ordered a variety of food from hot dogs to sandwiches and ice cream on top.In spite of it appearing as an ordinary cafe and next to a few high-priced fancy restaurants and, on the other end of the scale, greasy spoons - Ryde Pier Caf is now my firm go-to on the esplanade. The food is well priced and good quality, would highly recommend the hot dogs and fish and chips. The chips especially are great! There’s also a selection of freshly baked cakes and scones if you’re after an afternoon tea.You really can’t go wrong here, and with lovely sea views I can highly recommend the atmosphere.Get down early to meet Shadow - the island’s largest and friendliest dog!

Single veg hot dog £6! Roll nice, hot dog very salty and onions tiny over fried fragments. Latte tastes like instant. Walk up Union St to French Franks to get a baguette with any filling for that including a decent coffee

£14 for 2 hotdogs....very over priced and to be honest, not that tasty either. Staff were friendly but so would I be if I was charging this much.On a plus note, the chips were tasty

Came over to ryde from Portsmouth for work, see this little gem open, had a breakfast bap witch was absolutely splendid and enjoyable, they even gave me some free fries! The gentlemen who served me was very happy and courteous. I for sure will be visiting again!!!

Lush breakfast worth the Ryde from Newport. Excuse the pun. 😂Plenty of space to lock bikes up while you enjoy your food. Great views. Proper tasty food. Polite and quick service. Full marks from me.

Lovely! Had the most fantastic Jalapeno burger, and the buns are great! Also very good coffee. Really nice people, outdoor seating so possibly a bit seasonal, they do eat in or takeaway. Apparently public loos nearby but I didn't find those. Superb views.

Simply the best toasted cheese and ham sandwiches ever ! I need to find the recipe :). Forget coming to Ryde for the views just come for the sarnie. Super :)

I thought the people working here were exceptionally nice and friendly (but not in an intrusive way). Had a pot of tea and felt we were given a generous amount. Nice place to sit.
