Ryde Tandoori in Isle of Wight

At the beginning of 2022 they shut down for a month. Before this break I would have given 5 stars because of the value for money and the taste of the dishes. Now, however, the dishes I bought were only just edible, lacking in flavour and portion size reduced by about a third. I'm going to try elsewhere for my takeaway.

Lovely place to visit, food was amazing and tasted pretty authentic.Be mindful of the discounts during collection as I was supposed to receive a 10% discount however the lady worked this out incorrect and seemed upset that I told her it was incorrect.Despite this, I would visit again.

Ordered a takeaway from here and to be honest, you would be better off having a Tesco Indian microwave meal.Sauce was watery, the peshwari naan has next to no sugar/coconut and the food didn’t have much flavour (spice etc).I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately ☹️

I was welcomed by 3 smiling waiters telli g me I only had an hour to eat and leave.That's no problemAs I sat down at my table I was asked if I wanted a drink. Sure let me look at the drinks menu. 30 seconds later I was asked again.I hadn't even had time to take my coat off.I left!They must've had a coach party arriving. Ridiculous!

Delicious meal l had the Sag Aloo, Cauliflower Bhaji, & a portion of Onion Bhaji's & it was all superb highly recommended & reasonable prices. Also not a long waiting time for food to be prepared, & cooked.

We ordered takeaways online and the food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the saag aloo and the garlic naan. If you like your garlic naan to taste of garlic then this one’s for you!

Lovely food, friendly staff, prepared on time. A very nice menu to choose from.

We have no complaints about the meals,they are always very nice but it's quite expensive,as most Indian restaurants are. We only use it as a special treat.

Had one of the best Indian takeaways at this tandoori. I was on holiday with my family so we all wanted to have a Indian for a change. The food was delicious and extremely good value and lots of it. Would recommend the Lamb tikka biryani best ever. Can not recommend it highly enough. 10 out of 10 they also deliver.
