Ryde Thai in Isle of Wight

Delicious food with good variety of choices. Service was great - polite staff and food was ready promptly. Would recommend the Massaman curry and Lazy Duck dishes which were so tasty.Overall very happy customer!

First time we had tried Ryde Thai and I wish we had done it sooner! Access into the restaurant is all on the flat and there would be room to maneuver a wheelchair inside, although I would let them know when booking a table if you are taking a wheelchair as some tables would be more accessible than others.It is not very big inside, so booking a table is recommended.The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The menu is clear, well written and reasonablypriced. It also says on it that Gluten free can be catered for.The food was absolutely delicious, everything we had was fresh and hot and I can't recommend it enough. We will definitely be going back as I'm already craving another Massaman curry.

Fantastic food, the best flavours and always nice and hot on delivery

Been in this Restaurant last night I was shocked when I paid double for the set menu for 2 normally when set for 2 you only pay 1 that's normally an offer of any restaurant and they said is per person so what is set for 2 for them then they should put that in their menu per person not set menu for 2 is actually misleading disappointed 😠

We were staying locally and really wanted some Thai food. We tried booking but left it late so had a take away instead. Actually quite glad as it was more like a café with us take away customers traipsing through it. The quality of the meat was excellent, but most of the carton was sauce. Would have liked more vegetables too. Our local restaurant in London charges less and gives more, so feel a bit cheated.

This restaurant / takeaway was well rated on trip advisor so we ordered a takeaway from them. The service was good and the food was made quickly. However, the food was poor - the worst Thai meal I've eaten. The starters were prawn toast and veg spring rolls - they were over cooked but just about OK. The egg fried rice was a horrible, clumpy brown mass, boiled for too long etc. The duck massaman had an odd taste which put me off. The duck had loads of fat clinging to it that could easily have been trimmed off. The veggy massaman was better and the steamed rice was OK. Maybe I was unlucky or had too high expectations but I wouldn't recommend it.

Absolutely my favourite place to eat. The food is sublime, the decor and music are tasteful and the staff are absolutely lovely. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Would highly recommend

Oh dear oh dear oh dearWe left a good rating last time we ate here - so I wanted to treat my brother and his wife to a great mealWell to cut a very long very much shorter the meal was quite good (I'm holding back here) I think twice about waiting in excess of two hours for my evening meal - the waitress was most apologetic but no explanation from the chef was forthcoming not even a complimentary drink to dull the pain !There was a suggestion that chef was sending out takeaway orders before satisfying in-house dinersWhat a shame - I hate leaving bad reviews but the fact of waiting over two hours embarrassed me in front of my brotherThinking twice about our next visit

Top quality food with great flavours. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff and the service was a perfect balance between attentive but not making you feel you had to hurry. Nothing to fault and highly recommend.

Amazing food, amazing staff, great atmosphere
