Salty's Restaurant & Bar in Isle of Wight

Drinks are fine, but honestly the live music is very hit and miss. If you don't like the amateur guitar dood, your kinda stuck..

Destination food & drink, lovely, friendly & welcoming...Tonight we visited the downstairs bar and enjoyed a selection of small plates. Special mention to squid ink crackers with taramasalata, anchovy fritters, lomo pork and haddock carpaccio...oh, and the seasoned fries! Also visited upstairs in the past few months, lovely dinners and fun in the Live Music Lounge

The restaurant has been redecorated with new owners which looks lovely. The service from the staff was excellent. However the food and cocktails were not 5 star and could do with some improvement. Food was overall was too salty and quite expensive, charging similar to other restaurants in the area that produce better dishes. Cocktails were mediocre. I probably wouldn't revisit in all honesty as it's not as expected. I think for us the food and cocktails let us down. The dishes in its previous life were much better and had the wow factor. I felt 3 star was too low and 4 to high. Hopefully you take the feedback inboard and make some changes. The staff however were excellent and a nice touch with the live music upstairs.

Small, quirky, quite expensive (as is everywhere in Yarmouth !) but a great little place. Staff always friendly & helpful 👍 It's worth going just to see the pint glasses that fill from a hole in the base of the glass.. really.

Wow wow wow!!! This restaurant is amazing. We really enjoyed our wonderful meal and the staff are so polite, knowledgeable and friendly. This is our first visit and will certainly not be our last. Please try, you will not be disappointed.

the food here is amazing, the service is amazing, the waiters are so nice, just everything about this place is amazing!!!!

Great atmosphere, and superb seafood. What more could you want. I had octopus which was on the specials board and it was up there with one of the best seafood dishes iv ever had. My only slight gripe is that the tables are quite close together, not leaving much space to move around.

Fantastic restaurant with very friendly & welcoming staff, they can't do enough for you. The food is outstanding and a good price as you get allot for your money. Great decor upstairs and down as you can see from a few pics below. We are returning customers as we always have a great experience when dining.
