Popped in to Tansy’s Pantry for some dinner. It was thoroughly delicious. Good wine selection and carefully thought out and crafted vegan dishes. Delicious puddings. Wish we lived here locally and could come here all the time!

Perfect place for a vegan lunch or coffee. They also have a nice selection of desserts (cakes or raw). Positively surprised by the vish & chips. I would recommend 😊

Lovely staff and food , we had the Wings special which was tasty but too many chips with it and not enough salad. My friend had the tofu, but it was a very small portion although delicious, more tofu and less rice would have been better, and swap white rice with brown would be my preference. Overall a very positive experience. Will be back when next on the Isle of Wight

Neither my partner nor I are vegans but we were excited to try Tansy's Pantry as it had good reviews and we're always up for something a bit different and were feeling uninspired by the selection of ubiquitous tea houses and gastropubs we'd seen. We ordered the wings and vish & chips and it was incredible. You'd never know there wasn't parmesan cheese on the "wings" (and without trying to simulate chicken, their seitan was excellent on its own merit - moist, tender and flavourful!). The vish & chips was 10000x better than most actual fish & chips we've had - the batter was spot on, so light and crispy with a subtle flavour of the sea! If you're reading this, you should probably order it just so you can tell your friends you ate battered squash blossom on the IOW that tasted better than "the real thing" - even the crispy little pistils of the blossom that were sticking out looked a bit like fish bones! We had the BPJ brownie and cheezecake for dessert but were too distracted with the deliciousness of it all to remember to photograph it, which is probably a good sign! Had never heard of Fungtn (alcohol free) beer, but gave it a go because we love anything containing citra hops and this was a winner. Lovely simple decor, excellent hygiene and friendly staff too. Also five stars specifically goes to whoever chooses the music - while waiting for our meal, there were some quality tunes on rotation!!!

AMAZING! Any non-believers need to be taken here to show what vegan food is really like! The wings were something else, so good I asked for the recipe to the sauce! Mac’n’cheeze side was superb. The tofu “fish” bap was also brill, crispiest batter ever. So full, we had to take desert home for later. Take out beer for the walk back, too. Win win win!Vegan or not this is just great food all round, in a lovely cosy setting with fab service. We will be coming back!

We were lucky enough to find this super kitchen. they make 100% vegan food for our biggest drummer. Since we are pascetarians, we had a perfect menu offer. The main dishes are very tasty, served aesthetically. The cakes are delicious in heaven. And the coffee is good strong. The service is kind and friendly. The prices are absolutely good. Other times we go when we go on Wight again.

This is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the menu was fantastic for both me (vegan) and my friend (coeliac). We both went for the Vish and Chips, and can honestly say this is probably my favourite meal I've had since turning vegan. Fish and chips is really the only thing I miss as it's hugely nostalgic for me (reminds me of my grandad) and I've never had anything come close to recreating it, until I ate here. The batter was so crispy all over, the banana blossom is so close in texture to fish, and the taste was absolutely spot on too. Even the sides were great - the peas tasted spectacular, and the tartare sauce was delicious. The desserts were spectacular, and again, plenty of options for all sorts of dietary requirements. The owner even had a long chat with me about how to make the Vish at home, which she didn't need to do, and I can't wait to try it myself (I really wish I lived on the Isle of Wight so I could have this whenever). All in all, an amazing experience.

Lovely small restaurant. Loved the food and dessert. We ordered the Korean 'wings' (seitan ones) and the Thai tofu curry. The wings were excellent and the tofu curry was good. A berry oat crumble and PB&J brownie to finish off, both of which didn't last for long! Would definitely go here again if I'm on the island.

Took my vegan partner here to sample some local plant based cuisine and I was blown away by chocolate tart. As a non-vegan I rarely find good vegan pastries as a substitute. In terms of the vegan “fried chicken” I was less convinced by the texture. All in all, this was a lovely place for a meal with super friendly staff.
