not sure where the negative reviews have come from. My wife and I had dinner there this evening. The guys were very friendly and at the same time courteous. The food was of good standard well prepared and presented. The resturant is well laid out and clean with good quality accessories. We will be back.

I spent over twenty pounds on take away for my husband and I, it was delivered very fast but tasted revolting! The tikka was bright fake red and extremely sweet, as if filled with sugar. The lamb was undetectable in flavour and the garlic naan tasted of literally nothing. Somehow even the rice was sweet and so dry even though it was supposed to be fried.I threw it away. I will not be trying again. Not recommended.

Curry’s were very bland and not correct. Garlic naan was stale. And I’m sure that raita is off. Wouldn’t get a takeaway again, very pricey too compared to others.

Not very nice had king prawn biryani loads of cooked rice with little bits of veg... prawns were like rubber... complained and credit to the restaurant 25% discount.

We have dined in this restaurant and have had several takeaways and always been happy until last night 18th of January. I had a chicken pasanda and my husband had a chicken balti his balti was extremely oily.In both dishes the chicken was extremely red like tikka. The sag aloo was extremely greasy and oily, the mushroom rice had huge slices of mushrooms that did not taste of anything and it too was dripping in oil, we will not be using the Taste of India in East Cowes again.

I ordered a lamb biriani for collection and apart from the abrupt attitude of the person taking the call the food was plentiful and hot with none of the usual oiliness. Will use again.

Now it's not terrible but just a few bits letting it down and it's become to often to be an off chance.Sometimes the food can be swimming in oil others perfect. Always missing something from delivery, last time ordered 8 cans received 5 different to what had been ordered and this time missing 1x steam rice, 1 garlic naan and the only can of drink on the order. After a phone call was told I had only ordered 2 breads not 3 and the rest was just missing so I agreed to pay for the extra bread in redelivery. After checking my order confirmation in email it was all on there as I ordered so had to phone back and say I've paid for it. After lengthy to and fro saying they'd charged me different from my confirmation etc and basically blaming me and then their online system he said ah yes it is all on there. He then said so we won't worry about the charge for the extra naan, I lost it a little, making it out your doing me a favour. No mention of a discount or any good will gesture 1 for blaming me and 2 having to wait for half my dinner to turn up so I could enjoy my meal 20 minutes after the 1st delivery by which time half had cooled down. Shocking customer service really. So you may be lucky and get all your meal and then you may be lucky and it all be perfectly cooked it can happen but you just don't know, Russian roulette takeaway!

A little late on delivery but I don't really mind that. Tastes great and good price. The sole reason its 3 stars is forgetfulness. I've ordered 3 times and each time something on my order is missing. The first time was a starter, second time was a portion of rice and the most recent was 3 cans of drink. They apologised yes and offered the same item free next time, but it doesn't change the annoyance that this has happened every time I've ordered so far
