The food is pretty good, but it's starting to look a bit run down on the outside (sign is falling down)

·

Was keen to try out, very busy,, but not to my taste sadly, thought fish was rather greasy & chips over cooked, & short stout lady behind counter rather abrupt even rude.

Sorry, but I can't praise 'Terry's' highly enough. What you get here is QUALITY.The BEST Take Away Fsh & Chips I've had *anywhere* (IoW or North Island) in a long time!Fish cooked to perfection & Chips which were crispy on the outside & fluffy in the middle 😋Do yourself a favour next time you're in Wootton Bridge & pay Terry's a visit...And No, I don't work there OR have shares!

I'm not sure what happened to prompt the previous reviews, but we found the staff friendly, the food cooked promptly to order, the portion size more than I could finish, and the food was delicious!

Good service, tasty food at reasonable prices. All food is cooked to order, so was piping hot. They have an excellent ordering and collection system, with a TV monitor providing information outside the shop displaying when you order is ready for you.

Nice food but unfortunately absolute awful customer service received (from an older man with glasses). Me & my sister didn't realize the shop was closed when we got there as no opening times clear & the man shouted '20 minutes' at us. We thought he was just shouting as the door was locked/shut but when we returned in 20 minutes & went in to place our order, the man rudely shouted 'have you got a mask' & even tho I am exempt, I went back to the car to get my viser. On my return he said 'if you are together you both need to wait outside'. He was just so blunt & showed no politeness whatsoever, hoping he was just having a bad day but still not a great excuse.

Ordered just after 6pm and waited until nearly 6:40 which would have been ok if the food was good or even OK, we had a chicken burger , scampi , cod and pie with chips . The chips where the possible the worst I’ve had on the island , and over cooked scampi. The burger ok but the near £30 ticket you would expect something a little better

Having arrived on the Island last night I thought we would have a chippy for dinner... took over an hour from entering the shop to walking out with the food. We were not even acknowledged or order taken for twenty minutes. Staff were rude and arrogant. Food was cold. Without doubt the worst place on the island to get food......

The guy on Check In at Nodes Point said Terry's "was the best on the island". Fish was tasty, sausage was very meaty and the chips were pretty good.

Stopped off before I got on the boat. The two male staff where friendly and polite. It was clean and the service was good. I ordered Cod and chips. The fish was amazing and the batter was like glass... One of the best fish and chips I have had. I would of given it 5 stars had it not been for the female member of staff who I presume must be a wife or mother to the other staff. She had a full on hissy fit at one of them because they had put to many 1p in the till..!! In front of 3 costumers... Maybe more suited to a job in the back.. But over all Great food....
