Lovely produce & super friendly staff.Unsure what to do when we first arrived so ordered from the blackboard only to find a good menu afterwards.Choice would've been different but still enjoyed my blackboard choice.

Lovely airy café and sales area, with pleasant outdoor seating as well. Helpful staff. The food - we had the all-day breakfast - this time was very disappointing, though. It gave the impression of having been precooked and kept warm for some time, which is not what you want from all all-day breakfast!

Well worth a visit if you are staying in Bembridge or surrounding area. A very high standard of their produce. We always get our bakery items from them, when we visit the IoW each year.

Cant comment on the food as we didn't have any, went there for the advertised afternoon tea,,,we turned up at 2.45pm only to be told the kitchen was closed and does so at 2pm......should be called lunchtime tea at that rate..the lady behind the counter was friendly and the food did look tasty tho.Oh well next time I will get there early.

My husband and I were looking forward to visiting The Bakery as we had looked at the menus on Google and had seen photos of the food. We checked the times when it was open (until 4pm.)We arrived there at 2:11pm,.walked into the shop (and pushed the pram over a slight step) and started to glance at the menu when one woman behind the counter blurted out "the kitchen's closed, we're only selling what's on the counter." No hello, no "oh sorry but the kitchen closed at X time." There was no signs anywhere to say that the kitchen closed at two or that any food other than cakes from the counter were served after two. We didn't want a hot lunch, just a sandwich and a cuppa. In short a little politeness goes a long way (especially when you're sleep deprived parents of a small baby and it's taken you so long to just leave the house), though on second thoughts especially if you're anyone. It was such a shame as rather than supporting a small business, we ended up at the Co-op round the corner.(who had far politer staff.)

Absolutely fantastic independent bakery which provided a very tasty lunch. It had a great choice of lunch options filled sandwiches, baguettes, baps as well as pastries. There were plenty of different cake options on display as well which made it very difficult to choose. It operates as both an eat in and takeaway however it does get very busy but I can only imagine that this is because how good it is. The best bakery on the island and I will definitely be back on my next visit!

A very welcome pit stop on a very long walk. Friendly staff and great cake. If you visit mid afternoon it's well worth checking in the shop window as we spotted some reduced to a pound cakes. The iced bun was delicious. Tea was great too.

Fantastic cafe full of naughty goodies. Have eaten cooked breakfast many times before and they have never failed to provide a quality service with quality food. There cherry bakewell slices are a thing of beauty. 😍

One of the ladies customer service is absolutely shocking. I went today to get a coronation chicken baguette with my kids and my youngest was excited to see all the Icecream. To then hear this lady go errr kids (out loud) so I told the lady that served me that I'll pay then wait outside as she said it would be a few minutes, to then be told by this rude woman that I can't have them running around the cafe (which they weren't) and I said I have already said I will wait outside. I just couldn't believe how rude she was. To then come home to a half filled baguette for £6.50!

Good tea or coffee and cakes but great food to. Nice garden area to sit if it's sunny.
