Good selection of food with daily specials, I had the chicken breast in blue cheese, it was nice, very large portion, not too keen on the chips, but the coleslaw was lovely. You have to order at the bar. Good location.

Celebrated my daughter's 30th birthday here, delicious food and good service

We came here for my birthday dinner whilst staying in Newport and it was amazing. My partner mistakenly ordered cheesy garlic bread and onion rings alongside our mains... We couldn't believe the portion sizes when the meals came out. I didn't finish my main coz I wanted dessert and the crumble was also delicious! Fast service as well, despite being packed.

Amazing food and fast service, only downfall was dull lighting where we were sat, we were at the far end of the pub and didn't have enough lighting above us so it was quite dim. Overall a good meal 👌

Huge lovely big dinner's you won't be disappointed. Fab atmosphere and great staff. Excellent location, a short walk from town and on the walking pathway to Cowes if you fancy a good walk or just enjoy the quay location.

Absolutely fantastic I can only say that the food is wonderful, the staff were amazing and an over all fantastic atmosphere all round. Be warned take your appetite with you.

Great country pub! The staff are great, the food is homely and comes in very generous portions and the riverside location is super. There's a couple of good local beers on along with the usual suspects and a good selection of cocktail options if that doesn't float your boat.

Very nice pub! The gammon steak was perfectly cooked along with everything else. The staff were nice and their customer service skills were awesome. I will be back next time I travel to the Isle Of Wight. The view of the river from the pub is also nice.

Great nice cold beer and good selection of food for all tastes, staff very welcoming and friendly, very busy so book or get there before 7 for an outside table.
