Great place in the center to grab a drink. Nice bartenders. Solid beer. Good music at a good volume.

·

Nice pub and atmosphere, always worth missing the bus for a nice pint.

·

Staff friendly and polite. 2nd time we have eaten there and although you have a wait for the food it is well made/cooked, fresh and tasty. Good choice of gins. Great they sell craft ales though only 1/2, otherwise would have given 5 stars!!

Very friendly bar, which is well used by the locals. Good pub grub and plenty of it; at very reasonable prices. It's situated in the town, so easy for shops ect.My only criticism is TV's are on at the same time as Music ..it was a little difficult to have a good conversation.

Great pub, unfortunately there was a bit of trouble, not the landlady's fault but it did spoil our visit, would definitely go back

·

Friendly Local with good selection of Beers and Larger and tasty reasonable priced food

·

Great food, drink and service! Mandy was very attentive and made us laugh. Only thing is that there is a pigeon problem in the back garden.

·

Nice little bar. Dog friendly, always a big plus for us. Food looked good but we didn't actually eat. Warm, cosy and recommended

·

Inventive cooking - had a Christmas dinner in a Yorkshire pudding wrap. Very filling.

Welcoming, friendly, great food!Regular menu with a great selection of daily specials. Small, clean pub.Attempted to walk in on Thursday only to be told they were fully booked. Good for them. So I phoned on Friday and got a table for the evening.I went for the Cheesed-off chicken which proved to be delicious! Give me a bucket full of your coleslaw please!! Chips were perfect. All ingredients visibly fresh, tasty and well seasoned. For desert a lemon curd which was nicely presented with fresh fruit and a few drops of lemon and berry sirup (homemade I guess!). Zingy and delicious!Staff extremely friendly, chatty and observant without being overbearing. Never sat more than 10min without someone dropping by to ask whether I/food was ok. The perfect service!Toilets clean and well kept. Definitely recommend this lovely pub
